have you tried going online with gears of war????halfbreed11111
Sure did, wasn't my cup of tea. From what I've read it didn't do as well as the single-player and co-op anyways.

I tried playing WoW three times, did not like it. I really don't see why people go crazy over it. It's nothing different than Everquest. -Master_St3ve-
Everyone that I know started playing the game as a group of friends, and from that came the addiction. I'd imagine your average-joe just picking up the game to 'see what the hype is all about' would probably uninstall the game rather quickly compared to one that got invited by a friend, or caught their friend picking off raid bosses at a get together or something. I played WoW for 3 years. Recently dropped it and have been finding myself tempted to play again, but I know that I had a lot of fun playing it, and that fun isn't coming back again until a new game comes around, which will probably be D3 for me. Warhammer, AoC, all of these MMORPG worlds created in a fantasy - elves and dwarf setting won't dent the progress WoW has made. The genre is being over-done, and people need to start looking at new ideas. Sci-fi and Post-Apocalyptic Fallout-3 like atmospheres is what's going to lift a new MMORPG as high as WoW.

I got my 360 this Christmas past, before then my last system was Gamecube which I had fun with. When I had first gotten my 360 I had a lot of titles in mind that I wanted to just shoot out and get immediately. Over time I've beaten these titles, and my impression of the 360 has changed a fair bit. Out of all of the games that I've played Fallout 3 stands out the most, since it's the only game in my mind which has any replay value. I beat Gears of War 2 quickly, Mass Effect, Left4Dead, like they were nothing. Since then they've been decaying on my shelf, and I question why I even spent the money on them to begin with. Left4Dead especially, since the multiplayer got repetitive far too quickly. Being someone who has immersed myself in online PC gaming for the past few years, before getting my 360, I need to feel a reason to play an online game. I feel like there has to be a motive. L4D, while it is a good laugh among friends, really dries up that well quickly. Halo 3 is probably the only game I have which I play online a fair bit. Sure it's repetitive as hell, but there's something about it that gives me a reason to boot it up for at least an hour a day, and I'm not even a Halo fan. After splurging on about 8 titles, I feel like I should really do my research before buying games now. There's something missing, maybe it's age, or the fact that MMORPGs are causing me to expect too much from games, but for example, Fable 2, co-op is dreadful, the game is ridiculously short, and while it has replayability in the sense that you can go pure as opposed to evil or vice-versa the next time, it still lacks any substance making it worth $70. I loved Gears of War 2, I did, but I beat it within 48 hours. Was it worth $70? No way in hell. I think that renting such games based on short campaigns is the better thing to do. Speaking of short campaigns, Halo Wars took my attention since I'm a die-hard Starcraft fan, but since I heard that multiplayer is weak and the campaign is short, I can't bring myself to get such a game. I wanna hear why people think these games are worth the full $70, or in some cases $77 or $78 with initial release. What titles do you consider entirely worth your money? Do you have regrets buying any titles that are laying in dust on your shelf?
