Have you recently downloaded firmware updates 3.00 and 3.01? If so, you may be experiencing what plenty on the playstaionblog forums seem to be complaining about. It seems that quite a number of PS3 owners are complaining about Blu-ray drive issues since these 2 updates were released. In fact, they've got me so petrified with fear I'm afraid to watch any of my Blu-ray movies for fear I may have the same problems. My games work fine but by coincidence I haven't had the urge to watch any of my Blu-ray movies since I downloaded both updates but now that I've been reading about the issues I'm just plain scared to fire one up and find out

ye that might be it... i hope sony fixes it.
i have a 60gb model, with a 320gb installed hardrive... i have like 50 blu rays and just recently bought the mad men season 2, but it wont even read the disc. the games work fine, and it seems like my other movies do too... also hellboy II for some reason freezes up in the middle. is it my lazer or just bad copies? all my blu rays are new and not used.
[QUOTE="SouL-AsyluM"]Game data is seperate to save data. So deleting game data to free up hard drive space won't affect your saves at all.ye thanx guys.. what happens if i erase the game data files? will i loose all my info?
Floppy_Jim
