[QUOTE="FLSTS"]I saw that on discovery channel. It is really cool. That would be cool if there were humans like us there, either more or less advanced than us. That would be nice in my life-time if I could go there.the_leet_kid

I wouldn't count on it, lol. It would be funny to walk on surface with double our gravity.

20 and a half years of travel time, minimum. And thats if the spaceship is going at the speed of light...

Sony is just irrelevant.aGuerillaUnit

Right, the current leader in the console market is irrelevant. Nice statement there, really well thought out.

Its such a joke, seriously.

i'm so ****ing sick of learning about it in school, they talk about it like its a solid fact, like its 100% true that that is how everything came to be. Cool... good for them that they think that... but why arent we learning other 'universe creations'.

they say because 'god' cant be proven, and that the big bang theory cant. Then why cant anyone answer this... the big bang was when the universe, which was once very small, very hot, and very dense exploded into what we have today.

well how the hell did that tiny universe get there?

NOBODY can answer that question, therefore, my belief in god is JUST as valid, i cant prove mine, you cant prove yours.

i wouldnt have a problem with this, except for the fact that we're learning it in school and kids are only hearing one side of the story, im not even asking for them to teach christianity, im just asking them to talk about a 'creator' of some sort, talk about budda or somehting for all i care, just get the point across that neither one can be proven and that its likely that either one is the cause of why we're here.

/rant.

Theres evidence for the Big Bang. Theres no evidence that theres a god. If you want to learn about god go to a catholic school, but don't whine that your being taught science in a science class.

-N64 and it's analog controller came out one year after the PS1. Funny enough, not long after Sony developed the "Dual Shock" controller.

-Took Square from Nintendo in the late 90's and made it their own flagship 3rd part developer

-They jumped on the motion-sensor bandwagon by copying the Wii control formula with "sixaxis"

-PS3 logo design stolen from Spiderman 2 film title

-Creation of a new online service that they claim will be "better" than XBox Live.....

......and now they copy Live Arcade/ Wii Virtual Console by releasing old titles on a service, starting with Mortal Kombat 2.

In the words of Rush Limbaugh, "this is really shameful, folks".

-Creation of a new online service that they claim will be "better" than XBox Live.....

OH NEOS THEY STOLE TEH INTRANATS!

Really, saying they copied an online service is ridiculous..

-Took Square from Nintendo in the late 90's and made it their own flagship 3rd part developer

Square jumped ship, they needed more storage space then a catridge. I don't even see how thats 'ripping someone off'...

-They jumped on the motion-sensor bandwagon by copying the Wii control formula with "sixaxis"

Microsoft had a motion sensing controller even before that. OMG NINTENDO STOLE ITS!111!!11

-N64 and it's analog controller came out one year after the PS1. Funny enough, not long after Sony developed the "Dual Shock" controller.

Funnily enough, everyone copied Sonys dual analogs

......and now they copy Live Arcade/ Wii Virtual Console by releasing old titles on a service, starting with Mortal Kombat 2.

Oh, so Sony copied Nintendo AND microsoft, who definetly didn't copy eachother amirite? Come on now..

If so which country will be invlove and for what reason, and who will win? BeNOwNz

Yes, it will happen eventually. Who will win? Nobody will win, there'll just be annihiliation or a crumbling of society and infrastructure. (or neutrality..) The victorious won't be called the winners, they'll just be called the survivors.

For those of you wishing guns should be completely illegal to have:

If you want to get rid of firearms, then people who are crazy enough to kill will just find another weapon to use. Look around in your kitchen; almost every utensil in there can be used as a weapon. You can run over people with cars. Hell, you can use your own bare hands to cause damage. What I'm trying to say is that, unfortunately, humans have become very skilled at killing humans and they can and will use that skill using anything they can get their hands on. I just don't see how outlawing guns alone will fix the problem of murder.

Ranger_x8b

Nobody is saying it will fix the problem of murder, but have you heard of 33 people being killed by a guy with kitchen utensils?

You know, I don't plan on getting a Wii this gen, but I'm still damn glad nintendo might be reclaiming its former glory. They deserve to do better then the gamecube or even the N64.

It has great games, thats what it has to offer..An affordable price, the best console online service, and what is in many peoples eyes a superior controller. The graphics at this point of time are AT LEAST on par with the PS3s, it has a ton to offer a gamer.

[QUOTE="Sovereign727"][QUOTE="snyper1982"][QUOTE="Narwaffle"]They completely destroyed Star Wars Galaxies.snyper1982
Very true. Forgot all about that. I don't know who the hell was in charge on that one, but how do you screw up a game that would be so EASY to make a complete success, that would rival or surpass any other MMORPG on the market? I mean it is Star Wars. The name alone sells it.

World of Warcraft would've teared it to pieces but man Sony definetly made sure of it...

Which I am sure you have undeniable proof of right? How do you know that WoW would have "teared it to pieces"? By the time WoW came out, Sony had already destroyed the game.

What developer could seriously rival Blizzard in the MMO market? Lucas Arts, who owns the rights to Star Wars, sure as hell cant. The fact is that no MMO developer has come close to knocking WoW off the throne, or even rivalling its success. The question is, what proof do you have that WoW WOULDNT of tore it to pieces, because it definetly wiped the floor with EVERY other MMO on the market sales wise (quality wise thats down to opinion, but Gamespot would say it did in that department too). I don't see how that game, Star Wars liscence or not, would of been any different.
