I'm saying it won't be patched. It probably could be patched really easily, but they won't because they don't really have any incentive to. Skate didn't even get a rumble patch, so I'm sure it won't get any of this. Who knows when Skate 2 will come out, or if it'll even have trophies or custom music? It's not a mandatory thing.

I think this update sucks. All it has is text messaging and the promise that most games will have trophies someday. I'm sure a lot of people will love text messaging, but I'm not gonna get any use out of it.

It sucks to know that some of my favorite games like Skate for example are never gonna have trophies or custom music.

If you try to play music in a game that doesn't support in-game music (no games support it right now) you get a message that asks you to quit playing the game. Pretty lame

Yeah, this update won't change anything music-wise, it's exactly the same as it was before. There's probably only going to be a handful of games that support custom music.

the patch will only be for trophies. listening to your own music is on any game

No, man, I wish you were right, though.

So when this is released, trophies will work with one game, and custom music won't work with any games at all. Wha?

The way the music works is exactly the same as it was before 2.40, where "it's up to developers to implement it". Look at how well that worked out - there's only MLB '08 and two or three PSN games that use it.

Text messaging is cool I guess :?

Nate: Where did you get that boat?

Sully: Oh, I took it off a couple of pirates who were too dead to care!

If I saw a guy pick up a sword with his foot in a movie, I'd walk out of the theater. If I saw someone start breakdancing with two giant robots tied to each of his legs, I'd just kill myself.

He can get away with this stuff in a video game, but if the MGS movie tries to do something like that, it'll bomb horribly.
