Not video games... it's the media, the news, the constant reporting. Please stop glorifying these assholes and giving them time in the spotlight. This is not journalistic quality, raise the bar please.
@WingChopMasta @alrepairs @Vodoo I'm pissed and I own a WiiU...and a 360 and PS3. I want everyone to be able to enjoy this game and I'm totally cool with Rayman going multi platform. I also want to see the industry thrive as a whole though. I see a lot of people dissing the Nintendo fans like they want the system to fail, Rayman would be a nice push in the WiiU's drought right now and help keep the market a little healthier. Plus, with new consoles looming and the Sept/Nov months bringing the AAA titles, Rayman just lost it's window to really pick up some sales. Lost mine, that's for sure.
@Dreizel Being released in September is dangerously close to what always ends up as the big game rush, especially with the possibility of new systems. Rayman will be lost to me under the assured pile of great games that will also come out at that time and semi-likely new Xbox and PS4. Always loved the Rayman games and I am an adult with a good job but part of being an adult is knowing how to spend your money and that's why Ubisoft just lost mine.
@DukeMagnum "Accompanying the announcement was news that the game's release date, for all platforms, will now be September 2013." I could be wrong, no doubt but Rayman already had a soild release date for WiiU and people have played through the game so I would assume it was finished and ready to go. Now they're just holding back.
Well Ubisoft, this went from a day one purchase to no purchase at all. They say used games are ruining the industry...more like stupid developers and publishers. Just put the damn game out, you'll drum up more hype for the WiiU and come Sept everyone will have a chance to play anyway. If I had to pick an allegiance I would side with the 360 but I do own a WiiU and want to see Nintendo prosper...and Sony too, it's only better for the industry and the gamers if we have a thriving industry where all can compete.
Bayonetta is the superior game but I really like DMC. Maybe I was too negative leading up to the release and had zero expectations but I am having a great time with it since giving it a shot. Combat has never felt so fluid and satisfying and the level design, while odd, shows the developers just had fun and the results are one constantly impressed player (me). I'd wait for a price drop if you're on the fence but don't let it get lost in the shuffle, it's a totally solid game and I am having a great time with it.
I second all of these complaints and am very sad to say that I will not be purchasing Dead Space 3. Seems like each installment they gather in a room and discuss how they can ruin the franchise further.
