I think that's just part of the game. It's supposed to happen to show you how effed up these people are.

Uncharted 1 has a lot of problems, 2 knocks it out of the park. I'd advise you to play 1 first, because if you play it after Uncharted 2 (like i did) it feels VERY poor in comparison.
Well, the best Action Adventure franchise of all time is Zelda, and they say that there's a game coming out this year, so...
This.
I disagree, i think it's one of the deepest action games ever, the amount of options you're given is absurd. And setting a stealth game on a warzone as a "third party" was brilliant and original. AND, the motorcycle chase was the best shot gaming sequence ever. The only thing i found a bit disappointing were the boss fights.
I would love to see it taking place in New Orleans.
I agree 100%. Even if you take a game like MGS4 that is supposed to have some of the best storytelling in gaming, it does not stack up to anything in other media. While MGS4 does has some great ideias behind it and it creates a very interesting world, it's ALL non-stop exposition with some god awful tackiness and humour.
Very few games have shown actual restraint in storytelling, doing things in a subtle manner. Half-Life 2 is a game that does this very well.
Oot brought something new and revolutionary, i haven't played Uncharted 2 yet, but it doesn't seem to do anything new, it looks like it's a very very good game "stealing" all the standart features moderns games have, and there's really nothing wrong with that, but this lack of special features will make it dated by the time the bext big revolutionary game drops.
Monkey Island is and always will be an automatic win.
If Nintendo manages to deliver with Metroid: OM, SMG2 and Zelda (kind of unlikely for 2010, but that's what they're saying), it'll be pretty hard to be overshadowed.
