@cboye18: I haven't been living under a rock, I have played the game (likely more than you have) and my opinion of it is different from yours- which is that it's a lot better today than in September 2023, and has been elevated from a 6/10 to an 8/10
@deanmanwalking2: They have put a lot of work into updating and improving and building upon it, since launch. It's still flawed but much easier to get into and enjoy than when it first came out. Why shouldn't they want to also expand it to a new audience whose first impressions could be a lot better?
My PS5 is suddenly doing an obnoxious thing where certain games cause the output resolution to drop from 4k to 1080p for no apparent reason. Sony, would you mind fixing this?
@cruxis1712: Because devs and games need to be able to make use of the SSD speed. It's not just shorter loading screens, it's things like being able to stream in assets faster, so that you can drive or fly through a huge environment without tons of pop-in. A lot of PC games are now requiring or at least recommending SSDs too. This trend won't be reversed, just have to hope for SSDs to become cheaper
@neoXmahi: That sounds like an odd reason to return a game. What would be the practical benefit of having all the Indiana Jones game data on the disc? Xbox and PlayStation consoles have been requiring all game data to be installed to a drive for more than a decade now
@s1taz4a3l: I wouldn't be surprised if maybe it launches with both a lower end LCD model and a more expensive one with OLED and more storage. So that current Switch OLED owners can buy it right away without feeling like they're getting a downgrade
