I've been enjoying my Wii U for a Week now and I love it. It's great that is has BC with the Wii and the transferring process was rather easy. I doubt the Nextbox/PS4 will have that capability and it's nice to be able to keep the games from the previous console. I've really enjoyed Nintendo Land as it is a great party game. You can't play call of Duty with all of your friends in the same room. I also have BO2 and my only complaint with that one is that everyone sucks at zombies online (they can't hang with the master) I thought the game pad seemed too light so I bought a Hard shell case to protect it and give it some weight. The controls don't take long to get use to as well. The fact that the controller also acts as a TV remote is a plus, it's nice not to have to fumble for the remote to change the input, channel or volume.
The Wii U is awesome. I got mine in the mail yesterday and I love it. I also have a PS3 but the Wii U is going to replace it for sure. MiiVerse is cool, the controller is fun, and the games will come. GameSpot just seems like a place where everyone bashes on Nintendo. Why buy a PS4 or 720? just get a PC it'll be better than what they will bring out, compare them to PCs and they will also not seem "next gen" there's an art to creating a game experience and Nintendo is an artist. MS/Sony just trace what others have done. Video game reviews, hardware reviews, it's all a joke, nothing but personal opinion, and the opinions of others are shight. some people like ketchup and some prefer mustard and someone else says they're lame because it's not as spicy as chili pepper and they're not a fan of the color yellow. the purpose of a gaming community is to get information about something you are interested in, not to bash something because it might make you seem "cool' because that's what everyone else is doing. The cool thing about the MiiVerse is that it will be the opinions and info from people who have actually experienced the game on the same console and give you a chance to discover something new. You won't have to deal with reading a biased opinion given by someone who got their info from a biased opinion. This article points out the bad things about the Wii U but that's what everyone wants to do. I've rarely seen any articles pointing out the positives (and their are plenty) but I guess that wouldn't be the trendy thing to do
