Crysis. The graphics are great, but the gunfire felt way too sporadic and that's a large issue for me with FPS.

The age argument does not really hold water.

I play both alliance and horde on the same battle group.. Horde draws the teenagers and college kids while alliance draws more older folks who have faimlys and jobs and are not as hardcore about pvp.

I've experienced the opposite. Alliance is usually the higher populated side and I doubt the game is played mainly by "older folks."

Get the Orange Box.

CSS is the best multiplayer shooter, while I'd say COD4 is the best singleplayer.

Tell ya the truth, I don't like the mutliplayer.

It takes NO skill whatsoever to play. Why? The players have so little health and tends to die in 1-2 hits. It all depends on who sees the other guy first.

The only reason it's fun or not boring is because they tossed in the level up and included a ton of weapons.

You must be playing in Hardcore servers. I don't see how you can say being killed in one to two hits doesn't take skill. Your opponent can die just as easily. It's all about stealth and awareness. This isn't a game that rewards running around in the open like an idiot.

It's a different experience. If you find a good server, with a mix of beginning to mid-ranged players then it won't be so bad. If you get on a server where it's GOOD players, then it's going to be a long beatdown session. It's a tough game to get good at, but it's worth the effort.
