They may be FPSs, but they are very different games. It's hard for me to compare the two. COD feels more realistic, while I think Source takes a lot more skill. You can be a one man army in CS and not so much with COD. They're both great games.
I had the most fun on a free Ultima Online server. I would probably never go back, because the fun was mostly in the social aspect then the actual game play.
