I'm a big fan of RPG's as well as the PSP. I have yet to see an RPG on the PSP that is good. All there is are boring SRPG's or turn-based crap that I just hate. I found Dungeon Siege which seemed promising, but the dull story, overly easy and repetitive gameplay really got on my nerves. As much as I hate turn-based gameplay I still played FFVII because the story really intrigued me, so I guess I can forgive gameplay if it has a really good story. Anyone have any suggestions?

Edit: Oh and Monster Hunter is terrible and technically not even a real RPG.

I guess I kind of am trolling right now but, there are games I don't like that I can understand why others like. Like Halo, I hate it, but I can understand why people like it. But with GTA, I just do not see why anyone could be entertained by it.

I don't see why any of them are so great. When I play all I can bare to do is drive around and cause mayhem. The missions are horrible. "Okay, you need to drive to Johnny's Steakhouse and shoot Fat Joe. And Don't get caught!" Yeah, real cool. Why don't I shoot you instead?

My point is, I find nothing fun about the story game, which apparently is amazing because they all get high scores. I can't see why driving around and shooting civilians is worth $60.

Seriously, I've always thought all of the GTA games were so boring, the camera is annoying, the game has no point in existing. There's no story worth following, uninspired missions, all of it is just so dull. Except the huge ass city to explore. So far what I've seen GTA 4 doesn't change anything from the previous games. Well, I did see the hanging onto cars thing, I can't remember what it's called, Euphoria? Anyway, all you do in GTA is kill people, where's the fun in that? The graphics are average, the gameplay is boring. What's with the hype? GTA 4 just recycleseverything from all the previous games with only a slight gameplay and graphical improvement.
The main character is ugly too.

So basically, are people expecting GTA 4 to be any different from the previous games? If not, why the monstrous hype? What's the point?

Just got past the training stage.

It's awesome. 

Both Halo 1 and 2 are very mediocre games when it comes to the maps, they are too repetitive and it makes me vomit to see the EXACT same mapping for the tenth time in a row in one single map. Really really lazy. That's why it is severely lacking in the fun department.
Also, the weapon and NPC models are very bland, and Master Chief is really becoming old and uninteresting now when you have seen about 10½ million avatars and sigs all over the internet.

The gameplay, sound etc. is fine but it no way near deserves 9.7/9.4 or as much attention as it is currently getting, there are far more original games coming to all consoles that are far more interesting than any Halo game.
