I liked GT5 and Super Stardust HD (in addition to UC3). For something that looks great as well check out Datura and Child of Eden. Check out the list here. It's a bit out of date but there haven't been many 3D games recently: http://www.3dtested.com/3d-ps3-games-list/Any other 3D game recommendations?

It's your TV.
Try turning OFF each of the following settings in the TV menu one at a time, then more than one, then all if necessary (in future please post your exact TV model):
- Motion Plus / Auto Motion Plus: set to Clear, also try Off (perhaps try Demo to see if having it on or off solves the problem)
- LED Motion Plus
- Edge Enhancement
- Digital Noise Filter
- MPEG Noise Filter
- Dynamic Contrast
- Motion Lighting
I thought all of those games were impressive. I'd also add BEYOND: Two Souls (PS3) and Star Wars 1313 (PC + possibly 360/PS3 or next gen).
I'm not a Halo fan but I'm hoping that a change of studio will bring something new to the table.
If I had to pick just one game i would be BEYOND. This style of game is not to everyone's taste but I loved Heavy Rain and the more direct control, better acting and cinematics in BEYOND look great. #2 would be The Last of Us, #3 Tomb Raider.
I set 3D on once I was in game and all that happened was I had the game screen shrink to one half of the tv with the other half showing the same image. I believe I am going to have to buy a faster HDMI cable for the 360 for the 3D to work properly, but I was wondering if there is any setting in the 360 menu that needs to be turned on for the 3D to work properly.

No need for a faster HDMI cable. Just about all 3D games on the 360, with the exception of a couple of recent releases like Arkham City, use one of the old half resolution 3D within 2D outputs like side-by-side which is what you're seeing. To get them to work you enable 3D in-game then enable the 3D side-by-side mode on your TV using the TV remote. The TV will then separate the two images, upscale them, and display them correctly for 3D.
Although must warn you, 3D is pretty much a gimmick, let me know if you actually notice a difference, cause I sure don't.

If you're using the 3D display correctly (PS3 has been through display auto-detect after attaching the 3D display so it detects it, play a game that supports 3D, enabling 3D, wearing glasses powered on - you should notice them go a little darker) and you still don't see much, if any, 3D effect then it's possible that you have a heavily dominant eye or another vision issue that prevents good stereoscopic vision.

Because it's not yet available in the US PSN store. I've played a couple of novice games so far to get a feel for the controls, camera views etc. It supports 3D TV's an dthe detail on the pieces and boards are great. I'm not sure how well it plays on difficult.
Sony have previously stated that Starhawk will have stereoscopic 3D support. Have you heard otherwise? Sometimes betas and demos don't include the 3D mode.
Naughty Dog have stated:
- It's going to be 3rd person similar to Uncharted with less of the death defying jumps etc. ie. Some climbing, jumping etc but not to the same extent.
- It's story driven action survival horror (big focus on story and survival).
- Ammo is limited so there's much less shooting.
- There's more mele combat (both fists and using various physical objects).
- Health is persistent (no hiding for a minute to restore health) - you have to find health packs.
- They have put a lot of effort into AI (for Ellie, the other survivors, and the infected).
- It shares the same engine as the Uncharted series (both teams improving the same engine).
- There is an improved lighting engine, facial expression system and environmental sound.
- The infected don't play a large role in the game - you'll find more survivors (helpful and harmful).
Please write to your local devs to support this.

Shhhhh! Keep your voice down! You're likely to get flamed for this! Oh, wait, hang on a minute... too late.
Honestly I agree with you for the most part. The people who say it's a gimmick are wrong, but they are entitled to their opinion ;)
Seriously though, so far there are around 100 games for the PS3 that support steroscopic 3D and some of them are amazing (Uncharted 3, MotorStorm Apocalypse, de Blob 2, Avatar, Gran Turismo 5, God of War HD games, SOTC, Wipeout HD, SSHD, ...). In almost all cases 3D adds to the game (hell, even Happy Feet 2 is much better, really) but there are a couple that are down right bad in 3D (Sonic Generations, Dungeon Defenders, Tetris and Crysis 2 come to mind).
I don't think that *every* game should get a 3D option, but for those where it makes sense and is technically feasible it should be an option. I'd guess that the top third of allHDTV's selling at the moment support 3D. Not everyone is going to buy one (and 3D doesn't work well for everyone) but a lot of people sure are. With it reportedly costing around 2% of dev budget to add stereoscopic 3D support to a game3D gamerssure appreciate the effort.
