im afraid that im struggeling to see how u coulod be having serious problems with the mouse and keyboard TC. i use both game controllers and KB&M (i have all platforms) and im afraid i simply cant comprehend how u could be struggeling with KB&M after a few months. uve the the mouse controlling the camera...so killing enemies is point and click basically. now the keyboard does look intimidating at first but really...ure only using 8-9 keys on it unless u wanna make shortcuts in the game. imho its the easiest (after some practice) and the most powerful interface available to games and does a crackin job at pretty much everything bar sports games.

where exactly are u having problems with it? maybe i can advise...it would be a shame to see a 1500 PC go in the bin (from a games perspective)

I thourougly appreciate everybody's help.Maybe all hope is not lost...

I actually dont have any problems whatsoever with the keyboard,it's the mouse which just doesnt feel right. My right hand just starts getting tired after a few minutes.

Tell me do you rest your arms and\or elbows while playing.Have you got your chair arm rest in line with the table or is it below and you use your table to rest your arms?

Edit:And are your arms stretched while gaming or not.I feel having them stretched gives much more precision but it also becomes tiring.

[QUOTE="subyman"]KB/M is the best for FPS, RTS, MMOs, and TBS games. All others are better played with a controller. You should have analyzed what type of games you enjoy playing the most because blowing 1500 dollars.Hewkii

how are RPGs better handled with a controller?

Anything that involves a third person viw just feels terrible with a keyboard\mouse regardless of the uncomfortable factor.I can totally admit that FPS's are vastly supeior with a mouse but it is so damn uncomfortable.

I'm not a big fan of kb/m either. I recently played System Shock 2 and i just didn't feel comfortable with the kb/m.

I bought a gamepad just to play Final Fantasy XI and it just felt much easier and comfortable.

I think it's just one of those things where you need to get used to it. I've been using gamepads for about 14 years so naturally they are going to feel a lot more natural, but i'm sure if you play games with the kb/m for a while it will gradually get easier and you might think it's superior to controllers.

Thankz for the heads up I am still trying.

Before somebody says yes I made an account just for this as I feel too embarresed to admit with my real account that I burned $1500 on PC gaming and now realise that I just cant feel comfortable with keyboard\mouse.

Yes you can play with a gamepad but not all games and please nobody kid here as PC gaming is just not worth it if you dont play with a keyboard\mouse.I have tried for a month now,got a new table, got gaming mouse but still cant feel comfortable as it's so tiring and unnatural.:(

Am I the only one who thinks that way? Please tell me that I am not the only one and I wanna get rid of this PC and would never go close to PC gaming.

Console gaming take me back.
