Getting my first and only platinum trophy on Assassin's Creed 2. Took 3 days to beat the game and get every trophy.

If it wasn't for collecting all the feathers then I'd only have a few small ones to do for platinum too! I don't have any platinum either :(

You've only been using one save file? Strange. I can only vaguely remember this mission, but why don't you just make a separate save now and then try all your options to see what happens. Also I doubt you would've actually done anything to make those characters hostile, they were probably just programmed to always be that way.

Edit: Derp, silly me. I assumed Donovan and Brick were baddies, but they are the Rangers, right? Makes more sense now. You don't need to get a wrench off one of those guys though, you need a fisson battery for the elevator to work. I think you can find one in the hotel or the hospital. No idea why those guys are hostile though, sounds like it's glitched (googling seems to confirm this). I know it's only rubbing salt into the wound now, but use more than one save man!

Yeah I know I should have more then one save :/ Thought I was safe in that building until I realised I couldn't get out without doing the mission. You need the fission battery but you also either need to kill him for his wrench (now that hes hostile) or have a repair skill of 75+ (which I don't). So I guess I'll just have to kill him.....sucks but don't think I have a choice.

I am hoping for a useful reply :P I'm just very reluctant to kill him and move on with the game until I know for certain theres nothing else I can do. Very frustrating for me.

I know what you mean, I know that I like to try and make the music I'm listening to suit the game. Racing games I like to listen to rock/hip hop, RPG's I can listen to softer music and whilst I was playing red dead I only listened to folk and a couple of western sounding songs haha

New to these forums so I hope this is the right place to post and I know Fallout 3 is not the most current game but I've started it again recently and have run into a problem. I was just exploring not doing any particular mission and stumbled into the Lady Mary hospital (or w/e its called) then through to the Statesmen Hotel. I reached the roof of the hotel (eventually) without having the 'Reilley's Rangers' quest yet and did not fire upon anyone but was met with a hostile 'Donovan' and 'Brick', I also believe Buther's corpse is on the floor. I then went back off the roof to get the quest via the radio transmission. After doing a bit of reading about why they could be hostile I don't think I've done anything to make them that way and I don't have another save file to go back to :/ Those of you familiar with the statesmen hotel will know you can't get out until you've fixed the elevator. My question to you guys now; Do I have to kill donovan for his wrench to fix the elevator or is there another way out/way to make them not hostile? My character is not strictly good but i'd like to get the trophy for it so this is very frustrating. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

'Crack The E Nigma' Trophy in Arkham Asylum for me is one of the ones I treasure most because it took me so damn long to solve all of the riddles. That and having almost all of the steam Achievements (and the one for gold on all survivor levels) for L4D. Probably some others but I can't recall!
