Thnx for letting us know. I didn't see this one coming so early. I was about to go to bed, but had to try this. Here are my impressions...
The graphics are just astounding, it was nice to see after playing 2k7 with the cartoon graphics for the past year. The gameplay was alright, but still didn't feel completely right compared to live games on ps2/x-box. While some people will hate the right analog being the take charge button I found myself using it a lot more than before so it seems like a good spot. You also get punished for making bad passes compared to other nba games which should make it more interesting. The game also feels a lot slower, but that's probably because you're playing against or as the Spurs either way it's more like actual basketball. So if you're looking for an NBA Jam type game you'll probably hate this. To sum it up I'd say the game seems promising, but I'm not completely sold yet. Hopefully 2k will release a demo so we can compare.

If you think that sucks picture this. I was playing with my franchise in the superbowl... it was the 4th quarter with under a minute left and I was down by 4. I had been driving down the field and T.O. made an amazing play to get me to the 5 yard line. I had all my timeouts left so I decided to try and run the ball a few times first. I go and select FB Power and for some reason Joe Montana decides not to hand the ball off and just starts running backwards towards the sidelines! I had him selected but it just wouldn't let me move him even after pausing the game and making sure he was selected. So he ends up losing 25 yards on the play and I was unable to make a play to score a touchdown because of the time left and field position! Luckily it's just a video game so I just quit and replayed it and am now working towards a second superbowl.
Ya gamestop reps get hours based on pre-orders so they'll do anything to make you think that they will only have enough copies for reservations. People act like they only want to reward people that pre-order and not sell as many copies as possible. Did you ever think that maybe they take pre-orders to get an idea of how many more games they should order since they'll already have guaranteed purchases? It's not like game discs are hard to manufacture like consoles. If there really were a limited supply they would have first come first serve without reservations so that people would come to the store trying to get it and if not possibly buy something else. Which is why they won't take pre-orders for consoles like the wii. Besides that it's not like there aren't other stores that are also going to have a gazillion copies.
Ya it's stupid... every developer continues to treat the wii like a redheaded stepchild. They aren't even releasing NHL 08 wii which I think could be awesome. My guess is they'll release it in spring so they can make a version 2.0 6 months later as they did with tiger woods. Hopefully someone else jumps on it since EA hasn't had a chance to monopolize NHL gaming yet.
It kind of tastes like a cherry icee with a citrus after taste. I hate regular mountain dew, but this stuff is alright plus it's called Game Fuel lmao. Nothing I would drink on a regular basis, but one of my roomates loves the stuff and he's not even a gamer!
