@gifford38:That's the only argument left for their position in the console wars. That PC, PS, and Switch users have to pay $70 for a new release. But Gamepass is $20 a month to play day one games...

But they don't own the game....they are renting it.....games can leave game pass too. And statistically speaking gamers don't seem to actually play very many games. Heck most just play the SAME game. So having all those games on Game Pass isn't really that enticing....maybe that's why game pass growth is so damn STAGNANT. Man didn't MS say consoles were STAGNANT and that's why they dont want to be in that market anymore? IDK seems like Game Pass is STAGNANT too maybe they should quit that too. (God the hypocrisy of even MS leadership is Hilarious)

Also games don't stay at $70 forever......I just got Jedi Survivor for $17.

A lot of gamers just play one or two games. How many people just buy an xbox or playstation just for COD or Fortnite? Too many.

Heck I fall into the trap of just playing Helldivers 2 and not playing anything else. HD2 is just easier to jump in and play than some single players games I'm trying to complete right now

With how well the PS Portal has been received, Sony just needs to make it a dedicated handheld with a microSD card slot or some type of fast on board storage. Have it play games locally and stream from your PS. That's it

Switch 2 just needs to be more Switch. It'll be fine

I don't understand the point of an Xbox handheld when Steam Deck exists....at least the PS Portal 2 and Switch 2 would have exclusives.

Not only are services consolidating....but CONTENT is locked behind certain subscription services and it SUCKS!!! You really think that once game streaming services take off the same thing wont happen?!

It's gonna be PS Plus, GamePass, and Amazon locking out games from one another. Like it's already being done with movies and shows.
