@last_lap: The first two games were ok for their time.....but Shenmue 3's problem is that it still feels like a dreamcast game....and in the worst ways.

The Yakuza Series is really the successor to Shenmue, and unlike Shenmue, Yakuza is able to adapt and change

@R4gn4r0k: Restart your PS5 then go to settings, there's a 30th anniversary tab you will have access to for themes.

Im confused are liberal snowflakes or are conservatives snowflakes.....because it seems like xbox720life is awful butt hurt about this and is snowflaking pretty hard.

Also isn't this an MS studios game? Are lemmings against this now? Are Lemmings US conservatives? Why? Xbox is made in China not the US

@navyguy21: @Pedro: Give me a number. How many first party games need to be released every few months to be acceptable....I'll wait

You won't answer it. I've asked this same damn question before and no one ever answers it. (Secret Police did saying 1 game every 2-3 months but even he admitted no one does that) Because if you give a number Neither MS, Sony or Nintendo can consistently meet it, so you can never claim ownage or you're a hypocrite....which this argument is hypocritical from conception. It's a stupid argument.

There's plenty of games on PS5 to say otherwise is just foolish.

Pathetic get good pleebs,

@Macutchi: The haptic feedback is great, it's not talked about enough

From everything I have seen......this looks like a 7 from GS and 83 MC

Everything looks so stiff and scripted....I just don't see the game being fun for a full 15 hours, and low replayability.

But maybe I'm wrong and the puzzles and stealth are the best of the gen so far, and each encounter with enemies can play out different. But from what I have seen this doesn't appear to be the case.

I think the dualsense wins for me because of features. The haptic feedback is great when used.

I still prefer the 360 controller as the best controller ever just from a comfort standpoint.

Game is unfinished, even if all the bugs were fixed there's still balance issues with ammo, health, and weight limit for gear and loot. The systems are just not fully fleshed out.

Problem is, I don't think this is a 2-3 month fix with a patch. This is looking like 6 months to a year of work. I understand the dev team recently wen through Hell but this needed more time in the oven. It's been like what 15 years since the last stalker game? And the Studio's last made game was in 2016? I just don't like this studio's track record

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I like my games like I like my women, and that's physical.

From all reports I dodged a bullet because I hear it's pretty much a walking simulator now which is such a shame as the OG was interesting and a good game.

I only played the first Act because it is a walking simulator. That and the pretend investigation stuff, where investigation consists of fetch tasks where you pin the evidence to the wall, push a button, and get the next clue/task. No thinking required. There is some creepy atmosphere stuff, but in general I was bored out of my mind. I may guilt myself to try it again sometime, but that's probably going to require a bunch of alcohol.

The only way I will play it is when it's in the bargain bin just to see if it has any redeeming qualities.

Even though Alan Wake 2 did win a few awards from the VGA 2023, the word of mouth did kinda help it out but there are several reasons why it's still missing half the sales:

  1. Alan Wake 2 has yet to be released on Steam & GoG, and that alone is why EGS is still being hated for the exclusive despite Epic owning Remedy.
  2. No physical release is another reason why it miss the hype when the digital release. Companies need to stop doing digital only and release physical at the same time.
  3. If you get triggered by this post, just ignore my post and move on. Just leave because I gotta call this one out. SBI involvement did in fact hurt most fans feelings and after playing it, I can see why but still, I enjoy Alan Wake 2. Saga Anderson had to be injected to the story was fine, I personally like playing her more than Alan himself to be honest but that's due to her being in the woods more and it made it more creepy than being trap in Dark City.

1.8 million units sold is ok, but it could have been better.

It did get a physical release on October 22nd, so 1.8 million sales are piss poor for this well known game.

Why do hermits act like Epic will kill their first-born child if they use Epic's launcher? you guys should encourage competition on PC, not fight for Valve's monopoly.

I got the Physical release, it comes with all the DLC. Enjoying the game so far
