Hello there and in this week's Weekly Rocket.... well find out yourself.
What I did in Oblivion
Absoutly nothing! I'm joking, I just liked that song, "War, What is it good far?" But anyways not to get off-topic. You might know that I reviewed The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion for the 360 and gave it a 9.3 out of 10. But most people messeged me how I played it, well I know why people ask that because you can pretty much do anything in the game..anything! Whether its pick-pocketing a person, killing a home owner and stealing their gold, or hurt a guard and hopefully run away from them as possible :D. What I did in Oblivion was first doing the first level which was where the King was still alive and then died while I went downstairs to eat White Castle and came back. Okay that actually didn't happen but for those who played this game, you'll know what I mean... right? Then when I got to the part where I had to enter the first Oblivion quest, I was too much of a scaredy cat to enter but I did. And I died so many times eventually when I got to the gate, it said "There is an another location to enter here" I just threw my controller down and went from my last save and do whatever I damn well please. First I stole a guy's horse and I was happy to not walking for hours from Point A to Point B to Point C to... you get the picture. This game is like Morrowind but way better graphics, and like what Greg Kasavin said "You can even walk forever".
A cry far away
Me with great multiplayer is the best combination ever in my life like me with... a girl. I'm talking about Far Cry Instincts: Predator for the Xbox 360 a rehash of Far Cry Instincts from the Xbox and Far Cry Instincts: Evolution but all in one package, basically two games in one here. I'm not going to go in full detail about it since I'm going to post it in the review, the review will take long because I haven't even played single player campaigns which I'll play for about 3 hours or more if I enjoy that much. But what I am going to talk about in this topic is the multiplayer.
The multiplayer is very addicting but it wouldn't be if Ubisoft made a great choice of having a Map Editor. The map editor isn't easy like Roller-Coaster tycoon easy but what is said and done, its a great addition and allows players to build wacky, creative, and beautiful maps like I saw one called New York City which is totally based on it, the Black Pearl pased on Pirates of the Carribean movie trilogy, and I also made a race track called KART CRY 360 which is now not in BETA. Find the review of this game sooner or later this week or next week.
The Sequels That Succeed
For a long time, my theory for sequels especially horrible video games and successful ones is "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" and Halo 2, DBX: Budoki 3, and Burnout Revenge did but what about the horrible games that did that?
Mario Party, Madden Football, and MechAssualt has done the same thing again and again but made it feel less great as its original. So what I'm pointing at is video game companies shouldn't import what was very good and turn it into a sequel with something that's already been done. Halo 2 for example made the gameplay the same but with new weapons and environments which maintained it to fail. But Mario Party kept on making new mini-games and new boards to play in but felt too old and full and the same there wasn't any new anything else. God of War 2, Call of Duty 3, and Halo 3, please don't fail.
Hope you have a great week and thanks for reading
