some blogs/forums/etc seem to indicate that the memory is still being used by other devices (PCI). So the the additional RAM is still doing some good?

I dont know if my computer is recognizing my new RAM modules. I had 2GB (2x1GB) and added two more 1GB sticks. All modules are identical. The main problem is that I have a lot of conflicting information. System properties says I have 4GB, but dxdiag only counts 2.814GB. I know this was a problem before vista sp1, but I thought it had been fixed.

Every systems monitor tool that I have is displaying that I am using almost exactly the same percentage of resources as before the upgrade. So either my system is using twice the resources, the monitoring tools can't handle 4GB, or my computer isn't taking advantage of the new RAM. Two more pieces of info: my motherboard can handle up to 8GB in theory, and I am running vista 32bit sp1. help, i'm confused! ...I do get slightly better fps in crysis, though

I'm one of those unfortunate people to have bought a 320mb GTS. The price cuts have come and it makes me wonder if its worth it to throw another GTS into my computer. Is it worth the $115? I don't want to toss the old card out, so I was thinking SLI might not be a bad idea, rather than spending 300 on a better card. Also, is 2x320mb just as good as a 640mb card in terms of memory, or will there be some loss? I guess i just dont understand SLI all that well. thanks for any help

i guess no one remembers turok from the 'ol n64. man, that game had weopons that ripped through time and space. a crysis nuke can not tear through several dimensions. the only problem is i cant even remember what the thing was called...

I'm looking to sell my used Dell and I was wondering what it might be worth. Its a Dell Dimension E510 that I've had for a year. I think it was worth about a thousand, maybe a little more, when I bought it new. Here are the specs:

Windows XP media center edition

Pentium D 3.2GHz

2 gig RAM

geforce 7600 GT 256MB

250 gig HDD

500W PSU

The upgrades Ive done personally (not included in the initial value) was to add a gig of RAM (it was originally only one), add the 7600GT, and the 500W PSU. let me know what you think.

I put a 7600 GT in my dell dimension E510 which I believe has a 305W PSU. It works great. I play oblivion, stalker, and company of heroes, all resonably well. (also in it: pentium D 3.2GHz and 2GB RAM)

I'd pay no more than $1200 for it. 76ers

really? I would have thought it would be a little higher. a Dell like this would be a lot higher, i know.

Please give it a glance:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330151928549&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=014

Between the hardware specs and the overclocking, how much should I expect to pay? Whats it worth? thanks!
