You mentioned that all of your friends are just now starting college, while you at the age of 22 are completely finished. Unless your friends joined college late (which would kind of defeat the purpose of your entire rant), then they would be finishing college at roughly the same time as you are. You start at 18 years old, go for 4 years, that adds up to 22 years of age.

I'm also curious as to what company you are going to be working for. I'd be skeptical of anyone claiming to start out at 150K per year.

its a well known respectable company called MCDONALDS!

Honestly, I know succefuldrop outs. Stop stereotyping. If someone drops out, gets a GED, goes to college, they can make it, did I? No, but I'll probably die when I'm 25, I have **** health. However, for people who do go to college, they can lead succesful lives. Not every drop out does nothing.

Cool it sparky, this is only teh internetz 8) ohh ya and u spelt successful wrong, Did u know of this invention called Spellchecker?

I said it LOOKS NICE, didn't I?

So just because this guy has no experience and graduated from Yale they are going to pick him even though since his graduation he has done nothing to benefit him, didn't even get a job, over this guy who graduated from the U of I and since his graduation went to work for said comapany and even furthered his abilities by putting his degree to use.

Get what I am saying?

People on this board believe you can't get into a college because you dropped out of school, what a shame. Yes, you can still go to college if you get your GED. This is what I did.

Say Mike Hawk 3 times fast.

I had to pay for a few things along the way but I did it without high school.

There is nothing wrong about dropping out of high school. If you can make it through high school then make it through it. Dropping out is only the last resort if you can't make it or have better plans.

I dropped out at the age of 16. That extra 2-3 years in the work force gave me time to save up for a big UNIVERSITY. I did the community college crap and now I just graduated the university of illinois (i go to school with michael jordan's son). I'm done with school when all my friends are just now getting TO their university. HA HA!

Seriously, it isn't just for losers. You're life isn't ruined if you drop out. I know your teachers say (because MINE sure did) that with dropping out you have no chance of getting far in life. That is a lie. Don't let the school systems brain wash you like they were made for.

I start my new job in 3 months and I'll be making well over $150,000 a year. Not bad for a 22 year old drop out with a GED who didn't need school but STILL made it far in life.

This is just motivation for those of you who are having troubles in school or plain don't like school. A school won't make who you are. Jobs don't care (though it looks nice) that you graduated from some big wig university, they care about that 4 years after it and what you are planning to do with it.

Mike Hawk is nice.

[QUOTE="jt222_us"]At first I thought it was California, but I think California drivers are just aggresive and selfish. After moving to Utah, I now think that it's people in this state. People from Utah don't even know how to drive and are too lazy to do simple thinks like use a turn signal. They also love taking up two parking spaces with their gianormous gas guzzling trucks.sinistergoggles

Hey... not all California is like that. Maybe Los Angeles and other big cities.. but here in Fresno; everyone nice and courteous.. well, almost everyone. The majority of ppl.

lol Fresno sucks, I'd choose LA over Fresno anyday
