I personally don't care. If they beat the competition, they've come the closest to having rights to exist, whatever that is. Social darwinism at its best.
A smart man once said "If there were a god religions wouldn't exist". Which is quite accurate in my opinion. Hypothetical situation: There is a god, there is no denying his existence, everyone worships him and him only, religions would indeed be unnecessary, priests would be unnecessary. Because why would someone have to go to church or a mosque, talk to a priest when an omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient god exists.

No, as a problem on its own, of course it's not trivial but compared to the Middle Eastern conflict it certainly carries much less weight. That's an objective opinion. As is saying that the murder of a thousand people carries much more weight than the murder of one, even though the murder of one is not trivial if it stands on its own. In comparison it is.Ah but then we come back to the discussion vis a vis legitimate government...which has diplomacy and international status to deal with the US and terrorist organization with no legitimacy.....or credibility as it were.
