Uh... I have a 360.. and I play it daily. So... that makes you very wrong. very.
The point I was making is that blu-ray IS NEEDED... obviously you dont understand that concept..
MAYBE FOR THIS GAME, BUT LOOK AT MASS EFFECT AND GTA 4.
I agree with you, however doesnt that make you wonder if the game is just using the same textures over.. and over.. and over again? make no mistake that these will be great games, but the fact remains that there is a limit to how diverse the game can look. If they cant do this for a car game, then mark my words Mass Effect will look very similar for every single planet you visit.
[QUOTE="Stealth-Hawk"][QUOTE="chikenfriedrice"]the game must be horrible if the dev has to defend it...lolchikenfriedrice
Not exactly...
he's tellin people to just give it a try..."please please" haha
Actually he is saying in a nice way "quit being a baby and learn the controls before you get frusterated within 10 seconds and throw the controller"

"I'm aware of the reviews, of course. Some are very positive, some are not. The common complaint in those bad reviews seem to be the controls - putting the dragon streering on the motion-sensitive SIXAXIS controller doesn't sit well with some of the experienced gamers. First of all: try it out yourself, give it a chance!
And if you want my side of the story, I will share a simple anecdote: Victoria's family, lead by my 83-year old grandfather in law, was able to pick up Lair in less than 5 inutes, to fly around with the dragon and to play the first mission of the game. That experience right there beats anything that the reviewers can say."

well play gave sonic on the xbox 360 an 85%.....i dont trust themkcm_117
True, but to be fair, Lair review had a different person than Sonic.
Ok, so EGM gave LAIR 5-6. Which basically ends up being a 50-60% score. However, Play magazine gave LAIR a 90%.
EGM basically complained about the sixaxis controller while Play magazine praised the game for its graphics, music, gameplay, and made a small mention that the controls take some getting USED to.
I remember when EGM gave The Darkness a 6 because "I was annoyed with finding the signs in the street". Is it possible that EGM were just too lazy to figure out the controls, got frusterated, and therefore gave the game a bad review?
I just dont understand how Play can give it a 90%, and its been praised by gaming websites for being "epic" in their previews with a EGM score like that. Heck, even 1up (part EGM) praised it in their preview for being epic.

PS - Noone but that single person has seen the EGM scores, which I find a bit strange.
