yea because resistance, uncharted, ratchet and clank, heavenly sword, motorstorm.... these games aren't good. They suck ass.
Good point sir, only games that get 9.0 or better on gamespot are good. Glad you are limiting yourself to about 5 games a year... I'll be busy playing games that I enjoy.
I wouldn't buy one.
The awful system of installs means you can only have a few games before having to buy another HDD.
Install are so lame. And a because Sony wanted to use the PS3 as a Trojan Horse for Blu Ray.
Plus it has a clunky unorganized system that's not unified and its just frankensteined together.
I would wait till the release an updated version with all the hundreds of patches it needs becuase it sucks.
And maybe by then the will include the DS3 and of course when its cheaper.
But whatever. I don't think its worth it yet.

Holy cow you are a total loser. Jeez buy all 3 consoles and enjoy them people, they are all good.
[QUOTE="SteveMcD"]Yes screw you square enix for giving the 360 an exclusive B grade game like SO4Andrew_Xavier
You lost all credibility when you said that. Please, people, play a Star Ocean game, then comment. Over a million sold =/= "b" grade.
I don't understand how suddenly this game is so huge to everyone, the previous star oceans were not that great sorry to burst your bubble. For fans of the series im sure they are awesome though. Star ocean is not a AAA exclusive, it never was and never will be if they keep going in the direction as the third.
GS 7-7.5
Gamerankings prob around 78-84
Ever since Greg Kasavin left, the game ratings have been a little skewed in my opinion. Gamespot's bias against Nintendo has become much more apparent and other rankings have been inflated. A simple history lesson should clear some things up:
Before GTA IV the last game to be ranked 10 was The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64. This game was released in November of 1998. Almost ten years go by without a 10 rated game and then all of a sudden two 10 games are released with just over a month between them.
GTA IV was rated 10 on both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, but the Playstation version of the game was broken, as it continuously crashed. Perhaps Gamespot rushed their decision or just looked at the title of the game (Grand Theft Auto) and decided to give it a good rating.
It appears that Gamespot has lowered their standards, letting a broken game get a 10 rating, which is fine as long as they stay consistant. Unfortunately they have not as they gave lesser scores to more impressive games such as Half-Life 2, Resident Evil 4, and Call of Duty 4. I personally only look at the good/bad section for most Gamespot reviews nowadays as they are unreliable in most other senses. I hope they clean up their act soon and don't ban me just for giving a little criticism.

...yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. OR two incredible games that are leaps and bounds better than their predicessors (which were amazing to begin with) came out around the same time. That could be it.
