Just disabled the SLI , and I mean since I upgraded from 7 to 8 the computer still detects 7 and before loading gives me both options 7 and 8 to choose from
Do I really need to disable it , cause I rely a lot on it for playing games ? There are actually win 7 and 8 installed on the drive , would this be that causes the crashes ?
no matter whether I play something or just browsing the internet , it just crashes for unknown reason and then reboots . Yes I upgraded from 7 , and these are my specs : Operating System Microsoft Windows 8 Pro 64-bit CPU AMD Athlon II X4 640 28 °C Propus 45nm Technology RAM 8.00 GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 802MHz (10-10-10-28) Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. I know this isn't the right place for posting anything regarding windows , though I decided your help here might a lot more valuable than the one they could give on Microsoft's site. Why does my freshly installed Win 8 crash so often ? What might the reason be ?
This might not be the right discussion forum for this topic but still I need to ask . Can I get my old sky router connected to the current O2 one without an ethernet cabel and if I can , how do I do it ?
I just plugged in the second GTX460 and set up the SLI and everything works absolutely fine . I played Crysis 2 for an hour and set the graphics at hardcore level , but there's still that slight struggle ! Is it supposed to be like this ?
Im going to set up SLI connection straight away when my second GTX460 is delivered , but my question is whether my Corsair CX600 will be ok with handling both cards or I should go for more powerful one ? Im gonna try with the current one anyway and check how the things would be , but even if a little bit of struggling appears I'll get new , more powerful PSU . So please , name some good PSU
It's done I already got the second GTX460 . the PSU im using now is Corsair CX600 . Do you think it would be able to handle both cards even though is not SLi ready ? If negative , can you recommend me a good PSU needed for the goal . Cheers
