[QUOTE="verbtex"]

[QUOTE="StingerVXIII"]I'm banking on Sony stealing the show at TGS *Team Ico's game *Unannounced BBC game *9 exclusives for PS3 *1 game from Konami *1 game from Irem *The rumor of Kingdom Hearts being a PS3 exclusive *Sony is showing Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII trailers. They're both exclusive in Japan *White Knight Chronicles info *I can't help but place bets on Sony redeeming themselves since losing FFXIII at E308. TGS=Sony's for surelawlessx

I hope they steal the show.

They don't have any competition after all.

yeah microsoft isnt going to even bother with TGS and just drop all japanese support for the 360...oh wait

Somebody is insecure

Of course MS is gonna show something. Until they wow me, i'm going with Sony. Team ICO's game alone makes me wanna go with Sony at TGS

does it really matter? the way sony does things, no one will actually see these games until 2010.mtradr43

Yes it does, at least we know its coming. Besides its enough games in 09 to hold me down. I'm sure at least 3 of those games will be out before 2010

Jak: http://ps3.ign.com/objects/827/827789.html

Sly: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sly_Cooper_(series)

Sly Cooper 4 (working title) was announced on May 24, 2007 for a speculative 2008 or 2009 release for the PlayStation 3[1]. The game would have been premiered at E3 2007, and would feature connectivity with the Sly Cooper PSP game for the PlayStation Portable, which will be simultaneously released with the PlayStation 3 version. However, on June 5, 2007, IGN and other sources posted that there has yet to be any confirmation that work on these games exists, and thus this speculation may be incorrect.[2]

Instead, it was announced at E3 2007 that Sucker Punch was working on a PlayStation 3 title called inFamous, a sandboxgame based on a futuristic world with more photorealistic graphics. Brian Fleming of Sucker Punch Productionsstated in an interview that "We're broadening ourselves a little bit, taking on some new challenges," but also noted that "I think it's extremely likely that you'll see us return to the 'Sly Cooper' franchise at some point in the future

Team Ico Game #3: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Team_ICO#Games

In January 2008, Sony updated its careers section with the first screenshot of Team ICO's third game headed to PlayStation 3. Posts available were for Planners, Animators, Artists and Effect Designers. The third game will be officially announced during Tokyo Game Show 2008

Final Fantasy XIII: Its exclusive to PS3 in Japan and PS360 everywhere else

Final Fantasy V XIII: PS3 excluisive

New Ips: Uncharted, Heavy Rain, Hevenly Sword, Infamous, White Knight C

Uncharted 2: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uncharted:_Drake's_Fortune#Sequel

Shortly after the release of the game, Naughty Dog's co-president, Evan Wells, stated that Uncharted had been developed as a franchise, and so a sequel was likely.[51] It was later confirmed that the development team had put their work on the next instalment of Jak and Daxter on-hold to work on Uncharted 2 for release in 2009

Heavenly Sword 2(maybe): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heavenly_Sword#Sequel

According to Ninja Theory co-founder Tameem Antoniades, the story for the sequel has been already written; in fact a whole trilogy is being planned. He stated, "We've had the story for the sequel for a while now. Hopefully, if this game is successful, then there's no reason why there shouldn't be a sequel and we'd very much like to go into that."[22]

On March 21, 2008, on G4's Attack of the Show it was listed on the scrolling banner that Ninja Theory is not planning to create a sequel for Heavenly Sword, and instead has decided to work on a new project. Though information on the decision and the aforementioned project were sparse, it was stated that production time for the new project will span well over a year, and that the project, like Heavenly Sword, will be extremely cinematic.

On May 21, 2008, IT Manager "Peonic" announced that a follow-up to Heavenly Sword would be extremely unlikely due to Ninja Theory's decision to pursue opportunities within multi-platform development:

"We're not abandoning HS just on a whim because we want to go off and do something different - there's a great huge raft of reasons behind us taking the direction we are - and it's also the nature of the business that I'm not allowed to share any of those reasons with you.

As for the 'you're just not doing HS2 NOW' comments - well one thing you learn in this industry is that you never say 'Never'. So I'm not going to say we'll "never" go back and make HS2 - but it's something I personally see as extremely unlikely."

However, since SCE attains the IPof Heavenly Sword, there's always the possibility of production on a sequel being outsourced to another developer

Dark Cloud 3: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Cloud_3

According to an Italian PlayStation magazine, Level 5 is currently developing Dark Cloud 3:

"One of our infiltrates, has revealed that Level 5 is working on a new Dark Cloud exclusively for the PlayStation 3. This title will come out in March of 2009, and will be developed using a new open-technology, the Japanese ****"Kumo Engine

:What link do you have for those games ?? OH WAIT YOU DONT your making games up to bolster your fanboy argument

There are your links, again I never said when these games were coming out. I said they will come eventually. Also look at your post history and tell me who is the REAL fanboy. That would be you.

The speculation and wishful thinking in the list is hilarious

Jak will happen eventually, so will Sly, end of QFB hints at a Future Part 3, GoW 3 is coming soon, ICO 3 is at TGS, both Final Fantasies are on PS3, Uncharted, Heavy Rain, Infamous, Heavenly Sword are a few new ips and some are getiing sequels, White Knight, Valkyria C, Final Fantasies, DarK Cloud 3, and 11 new PS3 exclusives at TGS.

Thats not speculation or wishful thinking dude. Its all happening, it will take a while but until then i'll wait and play current games on my PS360.

Stop being such a fanboy, you're crazy if you think PS3 won't become even more awesome.

Just an idea of mine to collect data about as many SW postersd as possible and then turn them into graphs. You get a cookie for answering.

1. Which system do you prefer ?

2. Favourite Publisher ?

3. Retail & Boxed or Downloadable ?

4. Rock Band or Guitar Hero ?

5. Male or Female ?

6. Consoles, Handhelds or computer ?

7. Mac or Windows ?

8. Desktop or Laptop ?

9. Favourite Developer ?

10. Favourite Genre ?

11. Favourite Search Engine ?

Just c/p the qustions and then put the answer in bold or whatever.

I'll try to put up the graphs as soon as the thread dies and enough people have posted, assuming it hasn't been locked. On that note this thread could be classified as 'Off-Topic', but isn't it relative to Syustem Wars itself? Besides it's not exactly disruptive and I'm sure lots would like to know the results. But if not lock it.

The more people that post answers the better !!!
