Back whether you like it or not...my blog!

Well, I've been playing quite a bit of Halo 2 recently, but I've also gotten back into WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2006, so there's still quite a bit of variety in the games I'm playing.
I watched SmackDown! last night, and I will be blatantly honest, I loved it. It was a hell of a show.
Thing kicked off with King Booker and his Queen barging into Teddy Long's office. The King whined about facing Vito, so Teddy instead had him face THE UNDERTAKER. Woot. And the King's reaction...well, it sounded more like the old Booker than the new King.
First match was Finlay/Regal vs. Lashley/Batista. It was an OK match, Lashley and Batista won after Regal gets the receiving end of one of Lashley's spears. I've seen better.
Next match was Chavo Guerrero against Rey Mysterio. This wasn't a match, this was a brawl. Most of the "match" was held outside the ring, as Rey beat the hell out of Chavo. Match ended in a No Contest, and they'll face off at No Mercy. Now all I'm waiting for is a hardcore-like stipulation.
Next was what I thought was the best match of the night - the Triple Threat Tag Team Title match. London and Kendrick was up against The Pitbulls and the newest team of KC James and Idol Stevens. The champs won it in what was perhaps the most intense match I've ever seen on SmackDown. Damn, it was great, you had to see it to truly revel in its awesomeness.
Another notable match was Sylvan vs. Tatanka. Sylvan is from Montreal, Quebec(he's their freaking ambassador, after all), so it was only fitting that the fans went insane for him. Huge standing ovation. He greeted them in French as JBL sat confused as hell. Tatanka got booed when he made his entrance. What else do you expect? Sylvan won after snagging the ropes when the ref wasn't looking. Tatanka, as usual, was pissed about the bad call, but the fans thought otherwise - they blew the damn roof of the joint.
And then there was the aforementioned King Booker vs. Undertaker match. Mr. Kennedy was out on commentary during the entire match. 'Taker won by DQ after a visible low blow courtesy of King Booker. After the King tried to make his exit, Lashley ran out, shoved him back in the ring, and 'Taker went to town. Chokeslam, Tombstone, and the King was dazed and confused - not to mention the fact that Mr. Kennedy was scared out of his wits.
Other matches included Matt Hardy vs. Gregory Helms(Hardy won) and The Miz against Funaki(Miz was victorious).
Overall, SmackDown was surprisingly good - but then again, I haven't watched it in about a month(seriously).
And my thoughts on RAW? With DX annihalating the McMahons and Cena becoming the champ again, RAW continues to be immensly popular.
Well, that's about all for now, so until next time, later!
