i bought my ps3 from bb. i did not get the service plan. I did hear of some people buying ps3s from bb and then when they had problems they would change out and sometimes with a bigger more expensive unit. is this only possible with a product plan? i have a 40gb and it wont allow me to "exit game" I would like to exchange for a 80gb

hmm. i dunno. i would trust a 42 lg lcd over that price 999,99 was the price for lg 42 lcd and plasma and a samsung plasma. BUT i bet that 1080p looks phenomenal =D. do you have pics of your setup? I pick up my samsung on sunday. but if you convince me otherwise ill cop the insignia
a previous poster recommended the Insignia 42" LCD. I went to best buy today and picked it up; I don't think I could be happier, the HD movies look amazing, there is NO lag whatsoever, it has a nice glossy finish to it ;) it is bright even during the day when te room is really bright, doesn't affect the tv. xxgamexxer247
did you get the 1080p model. it was 999.99 right? the 720p is like 699.99
I just got a new LG tv HDMI compatible. Anyways, I'm trying to get it to run the ps3 in hd, so when I start it up, the screen says PS3 has noticed an HDMI connection, would you like to set your audio and video in HD format. I pressed X and the screen went totally blank and is still at this moment blank. Help please.

combo? this is push if so. Man you need to hook it up first with a composite cable. then do hdmi. your ps3 is probably trying to push out a resolution that your computer cannot support
Thanks for your reply, I'll look into it. I'm looking at another LCD before I choose. xxgamexxer247which
Both at 720p, I'm trying to decide which to buy. Which one is better for gaming in general? I'm a huge guitar hero fanatic and I play on the higher difficulty setting so timing has to be perfect or close to it. Which one would be better; less lag? And are the plasmas really that bad for burn-in? Please help.
Also if you know of another TV within the same price range let me know too. Thanks in advance.

I was at bestbuy today for an hour deciding between the exact same models. We could have been the same person. Here is what I ended up choosing from bestbuy

I chose the plasma for several reasons. The clarity and contrast ratio on a plasma is close to that of the 120hz LCDs that look so phenomenal. Also my dad has the same tv and I played standard def 480p downloaded content and it looked awesome. For those who still speak about burn in are the ones who bought a plasma when it first came out. Burn in is obselete now. you couldnt burn an object in a samsung tv if you tried for 48 hours. For those who are scared. Turn of your tv when your not watching it. That goes for LCDs as well. I have an hd-dvd player and a ps3 and standard def digital cable along with a digital hd antenna that gets fox abc cbs and cw all in hd beautifully. I had to order the tv and will pick it up on sunday. I have an awesome stand and everything waiting for my baby. aim me at pushdapusha or email me at mgissentanna@gmail.com I will post pics here or email it to you with some setup photos. The LG was my second choice and always will be. I know I wont be disappointed.
1080i Phillips 37inch question. Should I run my games and bluray in 1080i that the tv supports or is there not a significant difference in running it at 720p. I like the small fonts and look of the 1650x1080i(p). Any suggestions.
