LIFE SUCKS!
my best friend is transferring to a different school in Fresno. i would've been happier if it was a school in Clovis unified.she doesn't even want to go to Hamilton but her mom is forcing her to. June is thinking about calling her social worker. we'll barely get to talk on the phone or internet. we might not even get to see each other for more than 3 years. before Clovis/Fresno she lived in Sacramento
part 3 this is the counter argument

I realize that some people believe that a dress code is necessary because they think it will prevent violence. A dress code will prevent students from being distracted, for example if a student arrives at school with a Mohawk, the students will be staring at that student instead of studying. A dress code also means students won't wear inappropriate clothing like a tube top. While all these points are valid i still maintain that a dress code is not needed due to the students' rights to express themselves. As i have noted, a dress code is, without a doubt, unnecessary.

2nd body paragraph
With a dress code you can’t be trendy. You can’t wear what you think is “in,” so children wouldn’t think their fashion isn’t important. A numerous amount of children love fashion and wish to pursue it as a career but a dress code interferes with that dream. A dress code also means you will be uncomfortable. During the springtime we still have to where jeans, even when the temperature gets near 100 degrees, which could cause heat stroke. If we are wearing uniforms P.E., then we’ll be uncomfortable and we’ll be unable to do our best especially during P.E. testing. As you can simply see a dress code would be a waste.

anecdote
I believe that we don’t need a dress code. I feel it’s a waste for example Ryan was walking home from school one day. He was trying to be careful because he heard there was a new gang in the neighborhood. He was wearing his red shirt that was part of his uniform. He saw a number of guys on the corner wearing red. Ryan was found on the ground of that same corner the next day. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
1st body paragraph
A lot of people like to express who they are with the way they dress but with a dress code, they don’t have that type of freedom. Many children would feel like they can’t be open to who they are. Also, I feel that if a family has to where certain clothes due to religious beliefs, they should be allowed to, but many dress codes prevent the children from doing so. School uniforms cost a big amount of money. The cost of the uniforms may discriminate against low – income families. Why pay for a uniform that costs a huge amount of money than wear clothes you already own that fit you fine. As you can see a dress code is clearly not needed.
