[QUOTE="SpiritOfFire117"]Odd design. Could be true though.Stevo_the_gamerVery odd. I don't like it at all. PS3 slim was ugly as well, but this might take the cake for being the ugliest. :P
I think the ps3 slim is great looking.
This would look good if the area by the power button didnt look so.... indented? I dont even know how to describe it.
As an FPS, it was good. As a COD game, it was an absolute joke.
Verge_6
Right here.
I had fun with the singleplayer and the multiplayer for a little bit, but having been playing the series since COD 1 i couldnt play it for long, it was so arcady and clearly made for the lowest denominator.
I found the article
"What David Jaffe talked about doing was — and I'm not sure how it would happen — basically, you destroy Greek mythology and then Norse mythology is right around the corner. That's the next thing that Kratos would go after. It becomes clear at the end that he's going to become this harbinger of death across different mythologies in the world and maybe carry the series on from there.
Cory Barlog talked about Kratos becoming Death. He pretty much becomes the Grim Reaper at the end of the game and his blades become sickles. They're both incredibly good ideas, but you need a director to be passionate about the story and understand it intimately. If I had used Dave or Cory's idea, I wouldn't have been as passionate about it."

Thats how they would have gone if they went with david jaffe's ending. If you remember at the end of God of War 1 it ended with a flash forward of kratoes being in all of these major battles throughout history. If they would have stuck with Jaffe's ending instead of disregarding it in GOW 2 the series could have went through different mythologies and historical events.
Either way i was happy with the direction GOW2 and 3 went, but it could have been a little cooler if they stuck with what Jaffe originally set up.
To understand MGS4 ( one of the very few games that has ever recieved 10/10 here ), you must have understood, all the other Metal Gear games.... I thought MGS4 was so bad for so long, but when you understand the whole story as a big unit, you will come to realise that it is truely the a game deserving of ten, and its also only on ps3 :P
Megaman5364
Captain obvious in the house. Thats why so many people are turned off from the game, because if you didnt play the other games, you feel like your missing something the entire game. I have friends who played the game even though they never played a MGS game in their life and they liked the game, but couldnt understand why the cutscenes were so long or what was going on.
I personally think it deserved the 10, it was one of the best single player experiences i ever had.
It looks great but all of this should have been in KZ2. All the stuff they are showing was either in KZ1 or KZ liberation. Whatever i am glad its all finally coming together.
Yeah MGS3. I rented it after a friend told me about it and i couldnt even start up the damn game because every time i hit "X" it took me back to the start up screen. I almost returned the game until i started mashing all the buttons and realized you had to press "O" to select options in the menu.
Spiffy! I did not like Portable Ops much but I can't wait for this. Floppy_JimIt is much different from portable ops. The controls are alot better, the missions are better designed, and there are much better gameplay elements(having the fulton recovery system instead of having to drag each person you wanted back to the truck)
I completely forgot that Duke used to be a side scroller.Rhazakna
It was a FPS first. The side scroller came out afterwards, in 02 i think.
[QUOTE="genaroll"]I am 100% sure most of the natal games don't require you to stand up just like the wii,but i bet no one will have this hooked up at parties.Fuhgeddaboudittthe majority of wii games dont require you to stand up.
The wii doesnt track your entire body though, it just tracks the controller. Natal is a motion controller that tracks all your body movements. Not all games will require you to stand up, but the majority most likely will.
Oh yeah and after this video i think natal is even more of a joke then i did before, microsoft better have something up their sleeve for e3 to turn this thing around, because right now this thing is screaming casual garbage.
