[QUOTE="spendinbig"]Do you have a nintendo brand memory card, cause I've heard of a lot of problems with third party ones.Jakendo

its a mad catz, but Im using it at my friend's houses on their wii and it works number 1 so there is a problem with my slot A.

I would try a different memory card. Third party memory cards sometimes act weird and stuff. If that doesn't work I suggest blowing into the memory or the memory card slot (Thats what I did when my memory card wasnt working). Also keep your Wii out of direct sunlight because that too can cause overheating.

EDIT: Accidentally posted in your post... whoops.

I appreciate your suggestions and surely the guy at Nintendo will tell me the same thing but, honestly, I dont want to waste my time to find an orginal Nintendo made memory card. Strangly none of my friend have a nintendo one... I highly doubt is the memory card. Like I said, its not the first time Im using it on a wii.

Well right now we have 2 of the 3 and the third is right around the corner. (SMG, MP3, SSBB) So are impressed so far? And what do you think is next after Brawl is released, another Big 3?movin_target

Big 3 was awesome. Brawl and SMG are the best. Mp3 is very fun too but less wow than the two others.

Huh, im still on my first.

Now, when I first opened it and tried to play Wii Sports, It gave me some crap about the disc was not in. I took it out, tried it again, NO LUCK! I took the disc out, and I gave the Wii a fairly hard slap. Then it worked!!! Its true. No problems ever since. Don't be afraid to be firm with your systems.

[QUOTE="JAB991"]That sucks. I would try again and explain all this. Maybe it's the conditions your keeping your Wii in?Haziqonfire

I really take care well of my console. Its under my tv. Im not bloking the fans either. Just badluck I guess.

its not your fault. that pixel thing happened to two of my Wiis.

By chance there is a new (I think) Nintendo reperation center in Ontario so its way less longer to have our wii back. You can be sure I will require a brand new console that is working...

Let me explain....

I bought my first Wii on 29th December 2006. On September 2007 I realized I had those strange pixels on my tv while playing games. I went on the Internet to learn that I was the victim of the wii overheating problem.

So I called Nintendo of Canada, I scheduled a repair, I shipped my wii to BC. I had it back in 2 weeks. New console, no more pixels, I'm happy.

Recently February 2008, I realized I have again those damn pixels. I call Nintendo, the guy said its impossible to have this problem twice and he wanted me to try a lot of things. I finally convince him to schedule a repair anyway because I knew it was my console, its the same problem I had some months ago.

So I shipped my console to Nintendo of Canad, had it back in 1 week and they told me they didn't found my problem (wtf?) but they send me a new console so I was happy. If you fallowed my story, its my 3rd wii console now.

When I connected my 3rd wii, did a system update and finally putted a game into it. Guess what :

ERROR couldn't read the disk! I was like W%?$/$%DFGWR?/$%?%$?/$%&?%" what are you kidding me? I turned off my console, turned it on, putted Zack and wiki again:

ERROR PLEASE INSERT ZACK AND WIKI DISC TO CONTINUE....

Wtf its already in... Turned if off, then on. Inserted Re4, same f*****g thing!!! Inserted Zelda, same thing. Did they send me a broken console or what?

The rest of my games worked (MP8, Metroid, guitar hero3, wii play, smg, etc...) So it was really weird only 3 games didnt work. On the next day, everything was fine, Zelda, Zack and Re4 were working correctly and the other game too so I was happy.

No its not over....

Saturday night, I wanted to play Super Smash brothers melee with my friend. I inserted the gamecube memory card that I have, the game, lunch the game and than BANG

THERE IS NO MEMORY CARD IN SLOT A...

Now wtf seriously is it going to end? Slot A isn't working damn! and I know its not my memory card cause I often bring my gamecube memory card at my friends' houses to play smash brothers. The only way my wii could recognize my memory card was to tilt it up or down, so I putted a nunchuk under it and it worked! WTF

Now Im really angry, the guy at Nintendo better be ready for a very angry customer... It will be my fourth console can you beleive it? By chance Im a die hard nintendo fan cause I can switch to either 360 or ps3 man.
