@pongley 2K hockey was an example of what not to do with a game from about 06/07 on. EA's skill stick was exactly what NHL games needed, and I can't imagine going back now.
@Sardinar It depends on the game/series/etc. While I don't plan on buying this CoD installment, it is expected to be a top-tier multiplayer shooter, not an innovated story-telling experience. Arkham got blasted the way it did because recycled single-player experiences notoriously fade with time. The game changing hands certainly dropped the rating a bit as well, because it was another developer capitalizing financially off of previous success.
As stated, I don't plan on buying CoD, I DO plan on playing Origins. You have to review entertainment with the idea of expectation nestled constantly in your mind, and that makes the review number objective for more reasons than a lone person's opinion.
@Shadeslinger04 I don't see a reason to believe why the A4 won't work with the new systems. I was thinking about that earlier... They can just release a cable to connect for specific connections.
@megafitch exactly... Zelda is my favorite series, and I'll admit that openly. All these people sitting here and crying CoD! are the same people play BLOPS:2 right now... Mario Bros. games will continue to be 2D side-scrollers... and, they continue to be the best in the genre. I still predict a true Mario 64 sequel on the Wii U.. hopefully that will satisfy some of these people.
@DiverseGamer seriously? A good platformer with new reasons to play will never get old. While I would rather have a very good and true sequel to Mario 64, this is like a combination of Mario 3 and SMW. I'll take it.
