Yeah, I agree. For Wiiware and all the other downloadable game platforms as well.
Super-Poke-Bros' forum posts
I suggest you copy and pasteit to a plain text editor. Don't use Word, use Notepad. After youpaste the text to the notepad, just select the text and copied it again, but from the notepad.
I've noticed this little glitch, and I have a feeling it has something to do with my PC (Win7), browser (IE9), or browsers settings (default).
Sometimes when I post on GS, wether it's the forums, my blog, comments, etc., a few spaces get removed.
"For example, I would post this."
Then it might look like this:
"For example,Iwould post this."
It usually only happens for larger posts like blogs. I assure you they aren't spelling mistakes.
Sometimes, when I go to edit one part of a blog, another sentance gets bunched up like that somewhere else on the blog when I post it.
Does anyone elsehave this problem? ~EDIT: see what I mean?~
What's causing it, and how can I fix it?
Thanks :)
I use my GF account for GF (all GS users have one - you can log into your own as if you're logging into GS), which has tools that allow you to edit and delete your posts etc. You could try that - it's really not that much different from GS now, compared to the way it was years ago (when you couldn't edit your posts, there wasn't a PM system etc). Maybe one day GF and GS will fully merge, as every time GF gets a redesign, it becomes more and more like GS.michaelP4
Yeah, that's what I'll be doing from now on...unless something changes...which it might!

Or the reverse could happen. Ya never know!
:o
It's pretty much too late for all of those, especially the first two...all I've seen is unofficial (but fairly credible) information. gmax
Is there absolutelyno hope? :(
Can you give me a link to how to use the glitch to my advantage? Or was it something that I had to do while actually voting to get both?
I guess Allen won't fix it because if he did less users would use his site. >_>

Well, then. It's agreed that GameFAQs is the one that should add the features. Users wouldn't stop using GameFAQs if they added features, right? Besides, GS and GF have two different purposes, users who use GF for one reason, wouldn't switch to GS for the same reasons. So it's not like they are even competing...
Come on! They're both owned by CBS Interactive :P
I'm way too late aren't I :?
I'll post anyway...

There was a thread on how to achieve the first one you mentioned. Can't seem to find it though. The others are probably too late for you to achieve if you haven't already done so.

I'll try to look for the thread, but I'd appraciate it if someone would post the link :)
Also, I did participate in both events. I remember the Greatest Game Villian event, I remember that I voted on everything from start to finish.
For the Portal Kombat...I'm not sure if I sent in the trivia on time, but there was no mention of a deadline at the time that I posted it.
EDIT:
Oh, yousaid"achieve." I already got it :P
I remember I had it a while ago, but it disapeared. I just have the Voted Twice now.
Be careful what you wish for!Dracula68
Hmm...I guess the worst thing that could happenis that GameSpot removes some features for shared boards, as opposed to Gamefaqs adding the ones GS has. Still it would make things easier if it wasone forum, with the same rules and everything, but on two different sites. Although, I'd rather it's just kept as is, and not remove any features.
Maybe,Gamefaqs can just keep the features for use from GS only, but make them compatible (i.e. viewable) ontheir boards.
