The Journey Continues (MY STORY PART 4)

(READ PART 1, 2 and 3 FIRST BEFORE READING THIS)

The day I became a big poster was the same day I got a little friend called broadband. After I got broadband I could catch up on the topics and not miss out. I made friends and other gamers got to know who I was. When I got used to the forum thing and mastered the Gamefaqs website, I decided to return to complicated website I visited many years ago.... Gamespot. The first thing I noticed on Gamespot was the blog thing, it looked pretty cool. I did my first blog entry and it got pretty addicting after that. I noticed how much more Gamespot had to offer than Gamefaqs. Unions, blog, friends, tagger thingies, emblems. I still haven't explored all of Gamespot yet but I am getting there. And this is practically where I am up to in my Gamespot life.

So now you know, thank you for reading this very long story (if you took the time to read it that is. :) )

Gamefaqs and Gamespot (MY STORY PART 3)

At Gamespot, I looked at some of the game forums and noticed other people had questions too. I wanted to ask the question but I was too afraid to and left the website for now. When I returned to Gamefaqs I noticed they had forums too, I just never realised. I went to the forum and noticed it was the exact same forum I went to on Gamespot. I had a crazy idea that my account on Gamespot could work on Gamefaqs. I tried and it worked. When I was confident enough I made a topic about my questions and got out of the website hoping that the next day my questions may be answered. The next day I returned and I had a few replies. I was so excited to read them since they were my first replies I had ever got in a forum. I don't remember how many times I read them back to me but it was really exciting at the time. I didn't really go on the forums that much since I had dial-up and my Mum didn't really like me connecting to the Internet every day. In fact I was lucky to connect once a week.

How I Joined Gamespot (MY STORY PART 2)

Ever since that day I have been using Gamefaqs and that has been my main website for guides and cheats. Anyway while looking through a gamefaqs I found I guide that looked different from the others, it said it was a gamespot guide. I clicked it and I noticed that it took me to an entirely different website. Gamespot.com. This worked exactly like Gamefaqs except it looked cooler and looked (at that time I was a noob) complicated. I also found that it had a thing called forums. I had never seen a forum in my life until that day. I noticed it was about gamers discussing games with other gamers. I had a few questions of my own about some of my games and thought that maybe I should post some questions and maybe they could answer. So I joined.

Over a Year Since I joined (MY STORY PART 1)

Yes it has been over a year since I have joined. To celebrate I am going to tell all of you how I joined Gamespot. Beware this will be a long blog entry. Anyway I was looking up cheats for this one game and this one website had cheats but they didn't really work all that well. Anyway I noticed they also had a walk-through but it was a not a very well done walk-through. So I got out of that website and Google searched walk-throughs for my game and that is how I found Gamefaqs. When I went to Gamefaqs I could not believe my eyes. It had everything., reviews, game info and the best part about it was it had cheats for all the consoles and games while the website I was going to only had the cheats for the recent consoles. I searched for the game I wanted and I could not believe my eyes. There was a numerous amounts of guides. Not just one but many with their own category. I also noticed that all the cheats worked. In the website I went to, 50% of the cheats didn't work but Gamefaqs had no invalid cheats at all. It was the best website ever.
