Im thinking it might be your power button on the console sticking. If you are pressing 2 hard (you should only rest your finger on it)a guest of wind or something could probably trigger it on. Also i usually wipe mine off with a soft cloth to keep dust & fingerprints off of it.

the normal enemies in chapter 13 are making me wanna rip my own hair out, some of these are just ridiculously unfair

CP is the key to winning, i think. That & maybe you want to upgrade some stuff.

I do know that they use some loading times during cutscenes. It could be why sometimes the frame rate seems to be a bit sluggish.

This might have somethin to do with Squares awesome ability to program games. This runs along the same question on how does Square manage to avoid long loading screens.

I'd send it to sony, you might have to pay $100 or more but at least you'll get it fixed. As for backing up any data you may have to consult sony on that one. In which case you should have been backing that up at least once every few months.

Although i prefer Western Digital over Seagate.

I only gain CP in good spots. I thought it was just time consuming to gain CP during the first half of the game. So i waited til chapter 11 b4 i start hoarding CP.

And in response to some of the commenters in the FFXIII thread b4 it got locked up. FFXIII isn't my all timefavorite game. It's 4th on my fav FF list. This game does have some issues especiallly the lack of Gil. You do have plenty of components to sell off but i think that defeats the purpose on getting Gil throughout the game. I felt this was a downgrade.

I noticed this too, are they new games?? I noticed Final Fantasy XIII isn't included, maybe they haven't updated this yet.

FFVI is mediocre at best and FFIV is just awful. I don't understand for the life of me what people see in these games that would make them worth considering as candidates for best Final Fantasy.

FFVI & IV were classics on the SNES, During that era they were amazing. If you don't like them because of the outdated graphics, well hopefully 'if' Square remakes FFVI they'll go all out on it. If you didn't like the story.. well.. im not sure why you wouldn't. Kinda hard to figure out why you don't like them in the first place.
