[QUOTE="limonface32"][QUOTE="TleilaxuMaster"]I don't see what's so bad about VIII and XII. I like VIII's draw/junction magic system and the fact that enemies level up with you. And while I haven't finished XII yet, I already like the lack of random battles and messing around with gambits. And from what I've seen it's the only one in the series with a passable story.
On the other hand, I really don't see what's so great about VI. Way too many characters to manage. I prefer having a small, highly customizable party rather than having to deal with a dozen different characters who are permanently locked into jobs which I may or may not want to use throughout the whole game.
Anyway, to answer the original question, my top three are V, VIII, and X-2. V for the mix-and-match job system, X-2 for the fast-paced battles and non-linear gameplay (and the job system too), and VIII because I like the way the draw/junction magic system works.

Yeah What is so bad about FF8 I am getting it soonSimply put, it's not Final Fantasy. If you took out the words "Final Fantasy", it wouldn't get as big a reception as it got.
Why exactly arent 8 and 12 FF games? Its more or less the same universe, same GFs, magic, junction. Just becasue you didnt like them does not make them not FF games...
