Why would anyone want a lifetime sub to a SoE game? Their only successful game was EQ, almost everything else has failed.

I'm looking forward to Brink, it should be fairly good and a bit different than the BF/CoD/MoH stuff

You can't play as the iconic super heroes/villains, you make your own character and choose it's powers from whatever there is available. I'd imagine they have some sort of vine/earth powers, but I wouldn't know for sure. You probably wouldn't be able to make a character that truly feels like poison ivy though.

Well one thing I did notice is that you decided to play on an RP server, so of course you'd find naked elves (or other crap) dancing on tables at the goldshire inn, that's what people do on RP servers. You'll also find dudes playing female toons making out in the IF-SW tram, or other crap. Half of your post is basically complaining about the trolls on RP servers, play on a normal server and you could avoid most of that.

Packaging is still a big pet peeve of mine. I don't buy a whole lot from retail anymore, but some fairly recent ones came in boxes that are like 2 DvDs thick, all for 1 or 2 DvDs, it's just a waste of space.

I'd play it if it came to PC, but I'm pretty sure it's not. There was some dev from the team that did the first 2 PC ports teasing about it, but he went from teasing to crock of **** when I last read that thread. So I don't really believe any of it anymore

Guild wars is practically a single player game anyways, unless you actually know someone playing it. It doesn't need to be dumbed down at all for a port to consoles, it already is pretty dumbed down.

lacks some game modes compared to UT 2004Ondoval
Like Invasion! I was bummed out when they didn't bring it to UT3. I was even more bummed out when they brought it to GoW2 and it was so much worse and watered down than Invasion was.
