Price drop comes in June / July along with the redesigns. Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply upset that they bought it when it was $400. A lot of people with the current system are mad about the rumored HDMI port on the redesigns. There's a reason Microsoft dropped their shipment number to 12 million by June - that reason is they're cutting out 90nm manufacturing and stockpiling the new units for the holiday push. The current "premium" units will be $299.99 by the end of the year. Heck, right now at TRU you get a $50 gift card with them, and last year TRU was giving out $100 gift cards. Is it really so hard to believe MS, with all the cost reductions, won't reduce the price to try and compete with well-stocked Wiis before this holiday season? Is this true because i want to get one bad to play gears of war saints row and plenty other great systems.
