ok let me take a step back i know psn is free, so i really have no reason to complain, i say, they charge 1 dollar per month from their users 12 bucks a year, thats nothing, they do that and that will add up to a lot of money and then they can finally catch up to xbox live and to you people who say u dont like the voice chat because of ugly voices how about they add a new voice filter, one that YOU can actually pick the way u want other people to sound instead of other way around. OR how about a voice to text feature for those who prefer text and here is the REAL REASON they only added text chat and not voice chat http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ttlICBwiKEc/SKyAx4iMluI/AAAAAAAABIU/mRckEvwr19U/s400/keyboardtop425.jpg the ps3 keypad who would buy it if they could have voice chat instead? and the only reason they need to sell this damn thing is because they dont charge a monthly fee 1 dollar per month... come on, if u cant spare that u dont need a ps3. actually they should have two psn account levels free and then 1 dollar month then 5 dollar month each with different features.
It made the ps3 support more video files all my movies on my external play now.

that, i did not know about, i tip my hat to them for that one, even though it shoulda been like that on day 1... and yeah, u guys are right, voice chat is much more useful i never played xbox with the new experience thing but when i last played it it would allow 2 people to voice chat with each other privately no matter what the other was doing one could play a game while other was just at the dashboard even.,... the text chat problem is that u cant type out a message while u are busy fragging someone. i just dont think they thought this one through. no offense to any fans of home here... but this text chat seems kind of like the ps home just another thing to distract people from the real reason they buy a ps3
it added text chat with a severe filter i mean come on! i cant even type the word proven it comes up as p***** did it add anything else besides this lame text chat "feature"? why cant they just send one of their programmers to play on xbox live for a week then he comes back and fixes the psn once and for all. who is with me?

sorry but you are wrong killzone 2 is better but killzone 2 is not perfect once u get all ur level ups and perks and unlokc EVERYTHING then u play it like 1 week after that.... then it gets boring.
Does anyone know about how long a PS3's lifespan should be before it starts to get problems? Has Sony said anything? I'm thinking about buying a used one thats about 8 months old but I wanna make sure it won't crap out soon...
My playstation1 still works (though it refuses to read some disks) after.... 7 years? and my Ps2 is still working after 4 so i'm hoping Sony did as good a job with the ps3 as they did in the past.
Anyone have one 2+ years old still working perfectly?

i really hope that the lifespan wont be too much longer sony says that u buy it today and it will last you 10 years but in 10 years it will be restrictive to developers 10 years we better have ps4 at least if not ps5 and it better be some pretty intense sh!P xbox 1080 by then id bet cause u know, really. already these console gettin old man i mean its been 5 or more years already i think 2010 is the year of the ps4 and the xbox 540 who is with me?!

same here man, cept for killzone 2, then i sold it for 40 bucks after i had my fill before the value decreases. i still have quite a few games from the holiday releases to get most are 30 bucks now though, and if u finish them quickly u can sell em for just about what u paid for em oh, i also bought residence fall of man 2 for full price and sold it later when i was bored of it for 40 i think then i bought dead space for 45 sold it for 40 now im buying saints row, should be here wednesday, i cant wait i know its no gta iv killer but i heard it was fun will help me pass the time until infamous prototype too but infamous is exclusive and really, i try, to make use of having a ps3 to the fullest so far they have good exclusives lately mgs4 lbp(havent played yet but will soon) residence 2 fall of man killzone 2 and soon to be infamous (lets hope it lives up to the hype (crosses fingers) ) but yeah to sum it all up im pretty much try to save moneys where i can and i only buy games at full price if i just cant stand to not have it right then and there so if i can wait it off i try to wait till they 45 or lower but i dont buy anything like a year old., cause graphics wouldnt be too good i dont think
