I'm usually pretty critical of a games graphical detail, but the Witcher 3 looks great, and the foliage definitely is not 2010 at all. It looks great imo.

I'm currently in the middle of downloading Watch Dogs, probably wont be able to play it until after work tomorrow, but I'll be sure to download the the mods, and see what all the fuss is about.

So Watch Dogs received a legitimate HD patch, or are you referring to the mod by the TheWorse?

I disagree regarding Crysis 3 and Metro Last: Light. To me, Crysis 3 was ugly compared to Crysis 1. Nowhere near as lush. The grass looked better, and the textures, but that's it. Overall I think Crysis 1 is much better.

Decidied to start playing Crysis again out sheer boredom for the direction in which most games are heading in, particularly graphically. Not to mention I've moved out to BUM FK Egypt, and can't play games such as Destiny, or The Crew, because my Internet is terrible. I load up Crysis, and my god.. After playing Skyrim, Far Cry 3, and 4, and Skryim fully modded I am still amazed by the original Crysis of 8 years ago. How is this still the best looking game around? Some will argue that it's not, to those I offer the opportunity to disprove me VIA screenshots. With as much as Crysis has going on for it, the amount of poly's per screen, the amount of detail in it's vegetation, the sheer volume of graphics rendered in each screen, this game takes the cake! Seems like it will for quite some time. I've yet to see a game make me gasp like this one. Anyone else still in agreement? Sure, the game is modded, but, can a TOD file and a few HD textures really make up for 8 years of growth in an industry? Or does this show that the PC community has been completely ignored since the original Crysis release?

Surely, I'm not crazy.. What game can touch this?

Decided to go back and play the original Crysis again to see how it holds up today. I've been torn between two mods either Crysis Expanded, or Blackfire's TOD. I'd like to have them both running together and I have seen others apparently do it, or just use the Chicken Texture pack with Blackfires mod. Does anyone know how to get these mods to function together?

If not, does anyone know how to remove just the Chicken Textures from Crysis Expanded?

Also, the HD foliage mod that I used to use, or HD vegetation mod seems to no longer exist as every download link is dead, or the file has been removed. Does anyone know where I can get this mod?

You're a moron.. Every developer and publisher has a bad game, I suppose you should stop playing games period based on your logic. Crysis 2 was perfectly playable. I'm not sure what all the fuss was about, and Crysis 3 was good to me. I have yet to be disappointed by Crytek games. However, boycotting a developer because you feel they ripped you off with ONE game is a little sad, and speaks volumes of your character. It's like "The fries weren't cooked that 1 time at McDonald's, never going back!". So close minded.

This thread alone is why developers hate PC gamers. Most of the people who troll this forum are over opinionated "I are cooler than you, mi rig rulz", obvious morons, who care way too much about who develops the game, rather than the way the game is played, or the story behind it.

I guess I'm not sure what you mean when you say everyone mentions how 1080x60p is necessary but that you can play games just fine at 1440p... What is your graphics card, and what are you frames? Perhaps that's what I'm missing?

I guess I don't understand what you mean when you say you can't understand what people mean when they say 1080p60 is needed. I see you mention that Crysis plays at a stable 60fps.. What is the hardware you're using, to help me understand what exactly it is that you mean. I'm taking it as, you could use similar hardware, and lesser frames, for what seems to be a more graphically enjoyable gameplay?
