I have been thinking about getting one to go in either my bedroom or the living room. It would be a good addition to my elite in my game room.:D

I did the towel trick on my 360 and it worked for about a month. Finally I sent it in to get repaired. It is not a permanent fix, at least not for me. I would just send it in and get it warrantied.

[QUOTE="CrazyCarter"]lol thats funny. i payed 400 for my 360. not a grand. not everyone needs a bunch of useless accesories. BobHipJames

Useless? What a joke. You need batteries, or the play and charge kit, period to play with a wireless controller. You need at least one controller, and you need wi-fi to play with a wireless connection (I'm assuming yours is wired). For the basic online gaming experience (P2P=basic.....so I guess PSN transcends that for free), add $50 annually.

These are BASIC features integral to the gaming experience and the value proposition to the Xbox 360. Put yourself in this position: you cannot play online, unless you buy a $100 wireless network adapter and a $50 12 month game card. Are these accessories useless, or unbelievably important and integral to the experience?

What is funny is I play my 360 using a $29 lynksys wireless reciever. Am I the only one smart enough to use one of these? My neighbor uses a logitech network extender to play his 360 wirelessly and it only cost him $20 from Ebay. Am I missing something?

Although I don't consider myself a lemming, the 360 is my favorite console right now and the original xbox was my favorite before that. Now to answer your question, I loved my ps2 it was my favorite until I finally bought an xbox just for Doom 3. Now I prefer the xbox platform.

I think that a lot of people are on sonys case because of their arrogance going into this generation of consoles. I was excited about the ps3 until sonys PR opened their mouth, then I just kinda looked away. I know several people that felt the same way, so in their eyes sony is just not so great anymore.
