Again you would be wrong, just like the entire premise of this argument. I have a 65" 1080i HDTV, thank you very much.Lets take your argument and one-up the stupid factor, If you want a PS3 you better add in the price for the HDTV that can do 1080p and the HDMI cable and the 7.1 surround sound and the optical cable for that too. Now how much is the PS3? See, I can come up with crap that is not important too."
You must be one of the minority of console gamers that does not have an HD TV. My argument is based on the notion that the majority of console owners have an HD TV.

Yeah that's all very well, but what about when you get a console failure, which is 100% bound to happen? That means adding an extra 300 on to the price of the 360 :|.
I have had the RROD twice now and I have never had to buy a new one or pay a penny. Now if my 60 gig Ps3 dies then I have to pay. Your argument does not hold any water there.Lets take your argument and one-up the stupid factor, If you want a PS3 you better add in the price for the HDTV that can do 1080p and the HDMI cable and the 7.1 surround sound and the optical cable for that too. Sometimes it is no big deal, sometimes it is pretty significant. Before I bought F.E.A.R. 2 I downloaded the demo on both. The 360 version looked good and the PS3 version looked bad, jaggies and framerate issues. The Resident Evil 5 demo looked about the same on both consoles. So it just depends on the game I think.
I only own 1 blu-ray and I have watched it once and one other movie and thats it. I am not going to wear out my disc drive watching a movie like I did with my PS2! lol

Microsoft doesn't force developers to charge for DLC-that is a load of crap. If Valve and EA can get free DLC for download on the Xbox 360 why can't other companies. Also remember the Playstation 2....one of the the most unreliable systems ever? Yeah. Microsoft is not the only company to have faulty hardware or charge for DLC. Sony and other Game Companies are guilty of it too. Point the fingers at all of them, not just one.

At least Microsoft gives you a three year Warrunty on the RROD now too, IMO that makes them better than Sony last generation.
Good point, I BOUGHT 3 PS2's last gen and have yet to buy a new 360 because at least MS stepped up to the plate to take care of the people who bought their unreliable console.Well considering that 80% of the sales of San Andreas was one the PS2 and that is across all platforms, including the PC. That is a huge loss to being 50/50 now with GTA4 on the 360. If you count the PC version then they have sold even less that 50% on the PS3. That is a huge loss to Sony's share of the GTA franchise. I would say that it worked out pretty well for MS.
[QUOTE="lundy86_4"][QUOTE="tmacscores91"] Sorry, but you seem to be the minority now http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26807682&tag=topics;title tmacscores91
Did the lems give up the 360/pc exclusivity or did cows and lems compromise
Totally going against my advice above, lol
The view has changed to the right way. If its on a Microsoft system (360/PC) then its an MS exclusive. cuz obviously my ps3, or wii cant play it. Same goes for a Sony exclusive...that is all.So we can add a couple more exclusives to the Sony side and a ton of games to the 360 side then right?[QUOTE="T-Aldous"]MLB 09: The Show. 9.0 as of todayWait a minute. That can't be right, there is no such thing as a Playstation exclusive. If there is then there is such thing as a MS exclusive such as L4D, Mass Effect, Gears of War, etc. Why the sudden change in rules? If you can play it on another console besides the PS3 then it doesn't count. Just like the 360. Cows really need to make a decision and stick with it.What 2 AAAE does the PS3 have. I only knew of Killzone 2.
