[QUOTE="T-Aldous"]Its the Sony arrogance and lies that got to me, not to mention forcing me to buy into a movie format that I don't care about. Oh and the insults toward their fans. They basically said that the PS2 fans were stupid and would buy anything that said Playstation on it and they were kinda right. No other system would still be alive after the pricetag and the broken promises. I used to be a huge Sony supporter until this generation.tek91

forcing you to buy a blue ray player what are you 5 years old no one forces you to buy anything the PS3 is commercialised as a videogame system and that's exactly what it offers the blue ray is an added bonus if you don't want to buy a PS3 with a blue ray don't buy it, simple as that sony already has 21 million customers you can stick with the xbox and play halo wars.

Try reading my sig, I have a PS3, in case that escaped your attention. Blu-ray was not a bonus it was a trojan horse that you paid extra for to help Sony win a format war. It might be an asset later on but, thats not what Sony had in mind when they included it. Oh, and I am older than you by quite a bit, kiddo!

[QUOTE="Karaam"]this story actually put a smile on my face, I'm not a daddy yet or even close to being one, but I think I know what you mean, having a little bro makes you take on the role of a dad so I know how you feel. I'm just glad you put up this thread, cuz I did not want to answer anything tonight with all of them being the same every day.Jakesta7
Ya im glad too this thread was made, i thought it was gonna be some annoying thread sayin "i hate LBP" or somethin, but anyways, ya i like to play the game too, it gives me a break from shooting and blood. And also its a lot of fun to play w friends and family and to just hav a slap fest (like Zidaneski was saying).

I too enjoy the fact that it is different from all of the blood and gut shooting games(ironically because that is my favorite genre...lol) I love playing games with my kids so, I bought LBP and Banjo Kazooie to give them some interest in gaming with me.

I like this thread. :) With most threads you get the feeling you've seen it already before (maybe a bit different, but you know...been there, done that)...this one is actually new. Congrats. :) That's a hard thing to do.

It's a bit creepy how strong this game influences little kids, tho.

Well thanks for the compliment. I get bored of the fanboy type threads, system A is better than system B because X. I have all of the systems and enjoy them all. Sometimes it is nice to talk about something that most people can relate with and to remind us that we are all just human.

[QUOTE="T-Aldous"][QUOTE="Puscifer_No1"] My kids sit and watch me play. I usually give my 3 year old the other controller without turning it on and she just sits and pretends to be me when it actually is :PPuscifer_No1
I used to do that too but, now he is figured it out, he is getting clever. Now he wants to play until he gets stuck and then hands me the controller and says "Daddy, you try" lol.

 I just tell her the controller is broken before she tries to turn it on. Or I just play when she is taking a nap..

I am trying to get him into another game, so far I have had good luck with Banjo Kazooie; Nuts and Bolts (he loves to drive) It is giving me a little break from LBP.

My 4 year old daughter is completely smitten with Sackboy...she has the double-sided 3 foot poster from the Brady Games Guide on her wall and she kisses Sackboy goodnight every night. She even told me that when she grows up if she doesn't marry me she wants to marry Sackboy. :)

I showed her the story that surfaced this week that in the spring Sony is gonna be making Sackboy action figures and figurines and she is now devoting her money in her piggy bank to buying a few. She's too cute...just like Sackboy.

That is friggin' adorable. Kids can be so cute!

[QUOTE="T-Aldous"]I bought LBP thinking it would be a fun game and that my kids would also like it or at least enjoy watching me play. I was right, it is fun and my kids love it too. But, my 3 year old son is absolutely crazy about the game. He always wants to play it, he always wants me to play it. I can't get away from it! He wakes up in the morning and the first thing that he says is that he wants to play sackboy. I have other games I want to play now and he gets mad..lol. Anyone else have kids that love this game this much?Puscifer_No1

All my friends like it and I don't mind playing the game with them cause 4 player slap-fest and paintgun fights is way funner than anything else I can think of.Zidaneski
What are the paintgun fights? Maybe I can get my son to play those with me.
