The 40 gb version is just a stripped down version of the 60 gb, just take out the emotion engine, 2 usb slots, flash card readers& u got the 40 gb version of the ps3...to answer ur question Yes the 40 gb does have wifi, the only version of the ps3 that does not have wifi was the 20 gb, which was discontinued
The only real difference between the 80 gb & 40 gb versions are that the 80 gb has the software emulation, 4 usb ports & flash card readers, which the 40 gb does not have...oh yes & of course the hard drive size, but u can always upgrade that yourself
If you keep answering these questions which I've already addressed in my sitckied FAQ thread, people will continue to make threads without reading it first ... so please stop. Don't answer any question that I have addressed in my floated thread ... that way people will actually read it and these threads might finally stop.
