Rock Band and Call of Duty 4 worked fine, so I am sure it is the disc. I will probably call Microsoft, and I may even just buy another copy of Halo 3. I am still mad that "cleaning" it did the exact opposite.
I just recently went in to game crazy in order to clean my malfunctioning Halo 3 disc (regular edition), and now when I try to play it, I get the message "To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console," and it also for some reason thinks its a DVD. What would be a good course of action for this situation.
It's always nice to have games that don't frustrate you to balcne out the ones that do. Elder Scrolls 4, Crackdown, and Beautiful Katamari are a few examples. That way when you are getting really mad, you can unwind with a purely fun game.
I've had the same problem. They were once unlocked but then they lock for no reason. If you are desperate, play Team Fortress 2 on a seperate profile and the Commentary should be unlocked, but only while on a seperate profile.
