Ok, so now I have brought it down to Oblivion or Mass Effect (1)

and is the deluxe version of Oblivion worth it?

I know there is a separite subtopic for this but, could I run BFBC2 at a decent resolution with these specs? GTS250, 4G RAM, Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz

Sorry about that, I wasn't thinking that much :P

I like mainly shooters and RPGs

and I already own CSS, Dragon Age Origins, Fallout 3, Borderlands, Terraria, Company of Heroes, STALKERs, Just Cause 2, Torchlight, Frozen Synapse

I have been thinking of games like Battlefield 2, Bad Company 2 (own it on PS3), Oblivion (own it on PS3), Red Faction: Guerilla, Mass Effect. I am open to any suggestions though, and I am fine with older games as well.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have $20 to spare, so I am looking for a good PC game to buy. Any online retailer is fine, I just don't know what to get. I can't spare any more then $20, so $25-$29 games won't do.

Thanks a lot

I'd go for option number 2. Option 3 you're basically asking for YLOD. Even option 1 is better than option 3.

Well there are still some launch PS3s that are still working perfectly and will probably never fail, but it is a risk that you probably don't want to gamble with.

So I'm about to leave for a week long trip and I would like to get a couple of DS games that will last me a while. I would prefer RPGs but I am open to other games as well.

If it was me, I would probably buy a new PS3 because I am pretty sure that Sony's fixes are not entirely permanent and will most likely return after some time.

There is actually a better sale going on right now at GamersGatefor $9.98 (which is actually $4.99 for each person since it's 2 for 1) and it is completely DRM free as well. I definitely recommend this game. Get it now while it's on the cheap. Split it with a friend if you have to.

Do you think it would be worth it to upgrade and get 8G of DDR2 ram? my computer's specs right now are:

Operating System: Vista Home Premium 64-bit SP2

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2.40GHz

RAM: 4.0GB DDR2 @ 399MHz

Motherboard: PEGATRON CORPORATION Benicia

Graphics: 1024MB GeForce GTS 250
