Price is right, but there is a way to downloading these games onto sandisk and then playing them on the ps3. Save me a ton of money.jeremy45

Ā Disscussion regarding this sort of thing is banned on the gamespot forums.....

i got mine on ebay back in january works fine... it was in the sealed box... i bought it for 400 and its a 20gb and there is honestly no difference... except the wireless, and the slots... thats it... if you dont need either of those go for the 20...csqwared

As did I, there is virtually no risk in buying from ebay porviding you buy from a reputable seller and pay via paypal. In the extremly rare event that you don't get your console you file a dispute with paypal and they give you your money back. AS stated above if you dont need wifi then get the 20gb model. Basically the first respone was completly retarded. I bought n desktop 3.5" internal 500gb SATA drive got an external enclosure for it and then plugged it into my internal SATA port of the PS3 to make it so my internal drive is 500gb. It is best to use this method as you cannot do things like save demos, save games bought off the PSN, install linux etc. on an external HDD that you plug in via USB. There is a tutorial on how to do this here altohugh the comentator is quite annoying

My advice is, if you're going to get HDMI cables, get decent ones. I recommend the QED Qunex HDMI-P cable. (even though it is purple:P) as i gives amazing picture quality.

Man you got suckered into buying the "better" cables, there is no difference in picture quaility between the $6 HDMI cables at monoprice and the $200 Monster HDMI cables the both output a digital signal and that signal is the same quality in both cables. There is only a difference if you are using alalouge connections like composite with cheap and expensive cables the expensive HDMI cables are only needed if you need to transmit the signal futher than ~25ft for almost all home theatere apllications there is absolutly zero difference, buy a HDMI cable but don't buy an expensive one it's a waste of moey, there are numerous articles on this issue if you need to confirm just search in google

Providing your computer has an ethernet (which ~99% of computer do) you can just hook your PS3 up to your computers ethernet with a crossover cable, you might need some third party apllications for the setup of file sharing but it should work. The easiest way though as mentioned would be to use a USB storage device if you have acess to one
