Battleground Europe

Sign up for the Free Trial for 14 days (no credit card required), then when the trial expires, choose the "extended trial" which is actually just a Free-to-Play version of the game with a bunch of restrictions. Even with those restrictions, nothing else compares. It is one of the only MMOFPS games in existence besides the original PlanetSide and upcoming Free-to-Play PlanetSide 2. If you enjoy realistic World War 2 games and want one with incredible scale, you owe it to yourself to at least give it a shot. It looks outdated because it's been around for so long (since 2001 or 2002), but the developers have added modern effects like ragdoll physics and better lighting/tree models and the game is still going strong.

Yeah, this totally is nothing like Silent Hill. This game is going to be a joke. I hope it fails as badly as Ridge Racer.

put gameplay to no

I still don't understand how people didn't like Crysis 2 or that it's not worth $20.... Like Cmon, it wasn't as open ended as Crysis 1 but it looks great, is fun and has some pretty epic moments too.

Agreed. Crysis 2 was very, very good. I think some people love to hate it just for the sake of doing so. I think they're also bitter that it was different than the first Crysis in many ways. I think it was actually better in many ways.

What's that? Own an iPad AND a Vita? Sounds like a plan.

ItsEvolution

Sounds like a complete waste of money to me. :P I can't believe how ridiculously expensive iPads are. I'd almost rather own a netbook or laptop so that I could do much more at a lower price.

Simple answer: Most games run at 30 with occassional dips. Very few run at 60.

Because people are stupid. It's like comparing a PC to a gaming console, which simply makes no sense at all.

Uninstalled it weeks ago. When your best maps are those from a prequel released over 5 years ago, you know you failed. And it had the absolute worst user interface of any Battlefield game to date, including Bad Company 2.

[QUOTE="THA-TODD-BEAST"]

I miss the days when we got all three DLCs in one game known as an "Expansion Pack."

Wasdie

You must not remember Special Ops, Euro Forces, or Armored Fury for BF2. DICE was doing DLC before DLC became popular.

Yeah, Special Forces was the last "expansion pack" they did and it rocked. 8 new maps, 6 new armies, 10 new vehicles, for $20? What an insane deal. That's almost a new game's worth! Everything that followed was what they referred to as "booster packs," or basically DLC. That's when it started to go downhill and over time, you got less for more money.
