Oh, odd. Even after the woman told me that, I got the original box that doesn't fit the power brick from UPS. And yes, it's to that Mcallen, Texas address. So I was only able to send my console, I really hope they can fix it. Even after the woman told me to send the brick, I called back and talked to someone else and they said "no, absolutely not. no cords, just console." so we'll see. I'm gonna be so pissed off if they can't fix it.

I have noticed quite a few people (on this and other message boards) who have gotten this code too (many after having the console for a long time.)

So it seems (in the case of older 360 models at least) if the RROD doesn't kill it... the e74 code will.

Just send it back to Microsoft and say it got the RROD.

If I call them and tell them I have the RROD and send it in, do you think they will just fix it anyway? I shouldn't have to lie, they should just fix it since it is their fault they aren't building their products correctly. I don't know what to do, I haven't talked to them yet, I don't even know if they are going to say that there is a charge.

No, I didn't, but even if I did, it would have expired 4 days ago, because I bought it May 8th, 2006.
