Most are just jealous that MGS4 is exclusive to the PS3. They won't admit it, but deep inside, that's the real reason.hairy_bubblegumI dont think that is the real reason. I think that the haters know its a AAA title but they dont want to admit it.

yea a women as well told me to ship the power brick and cord, thinking the same way about getting jipped from a power brick. But got the box from FEDEX last week and it had the instruction to send in the power brick, was kinda surprised that it had overnight shipping, though I sent mine on friday and they barely got delivered today so I doubt it I'll be getting it within a 2 weeks time period, my 360 broke on May 1 while playing GTA4. Quick question, are you guys still sending your 360 to Mcallen Texas?[QUOTE="THE_PREZIDENT"][QUOTE="destinhpark"]
hey, i got the RROD, and received my box today to ship,
however on the phone, i believe i recall the woman telling me to ship the power unit and cords with the console.
has anyone else been told to do the same? did anyone else ship their power unit with their console when they got RROD?
just making sure i remember correctly, i don't want to get jipped out of a power brick..
thanks.

Oh, odd. Even after the woman told me that, I got the original box that doesn't fit the power brick from UPS. And yes, it's to that Mcallen, Texas address. So I was only able to send my console, I really hope they can fix it. Even after the woman told me to send the brick, I called back and talked to someone else and they said "no, absolutely not. no cords, just console." so we'll see. I'm gonna be so pissed off if they can't fix it.
Hmmm I hope I get my 360 fixed and get my brick and cord back. I just checked the repair status online, and it says they are done repairing and is in transit to my house. But I got a feeling MS screwed me in way.[QUOTE="THE_PREZIDENT"][QUOTE="Taylorgc2004"][QUOTE="FamiBox"]Exact same thing happened to me.
I have noticed quite a few people (on this and other message boards) who have gotten this code too (many after having the console for a long time.)
So it seems (in the case of older 360 models at least) if the RROD doesn't kill it... the e74 code will.
Just send it back to Microsoft and say it got the RROD.

If I call them and tell them I have the RROD and send it in, do you think they will just fix it anyway? I shouldn't have to lie, they should just fix it since it is their fault they aren't building their products correctly. I don't know what to do, I haven't talked to them yet, I don't even know if they are going to say that there is a charge.
Did you buy the extended warranty? No, I didn't, but even if I did, it would have expired 4 days ago, because I bought it May 8th, 2006.
