@kr4q3picdemix I do, you don't. You don't understand that you can't illegally use someone else's trademark like this developer tried to. And no, legally a company could NOT make a game called "Golden Halo" because they would be infringing on Microsoft's trademark
@pumacatrun2 "Fallout" is trademarked when it comes to video games, that means legally no other company can use the word when it comes to video games. Business 101 tells you to look up trademarks when naming your company or game to make sure you are't breaking the law. Going by your logic, I could name a game "Mario Sonic Zelda Halo Fallout Crackdown" and not expect legal action because all of those were existing words (even though they are all trademarked in regards to video games).
And fans suggested the name, but the developers picked it. Someone else suggested something which is plausible, that they picked the name on purpose because the cease and desist letter has gotten them more publicity than they EVER would have.
@pumacatrun2 Stopping a company from illegally using your trademark is NOT bullying. Under your logic, threatening to shoot somebody who breaks into your home would be bullying.
@purplestone6988 Pretty plausible. This is a game that nobody would have ever heard of, even after it was released. But now he gets some free publicity and causing more people to hear about his game than it ever would have.
@MJV1989 Under your logic, a company other than Microsoft should be able to make video games named "Halo" because that is an already existing word. You don't get the concept of trademarks, do you?
@red666devil Ouya is a failure. And you realize that Microsoft charges the same royalty rates as Sony? And people still trolling with M$ just look like idiots.
@Navardo95 Um, 5GB is still a HUGE amount of RAM for games. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 had 512MB of RAM (PS3 was worse because its RAM was split up into 2, making things more difficult) for games.
