Even though I have no interest in the X1, I don't really understand the attitude that it isn't primarily about the games. Yeah, it's also focusing on other stuff. Yes, Microsoft is trying to broaden their audience and appeal to casual gamers. But it's still mostly gonna be about the games. Some casuals and nongamers might like the X1's non-gaming features, but nongamers aren't going to shell out hundreds of bucks just for that stuff. The people buying it at launch are gonna be gamers, the people willing to pay hundreds of bucks for it are gonna be gamers, its selling point is still going to mostly be games.MrGeezer
Microsoft hyped up the unveiling of their new system, and despite the word "games" being thrown around a lot it was 99% non-gaming related.
"Games you say? oh that comes later lol" was the answer we got which really says everything about Microsofts attitude. Gamers are second class citizens to them.
